We seem to have lost touch with what it means to build, preserve, andstructurally safeguard a self-sustaining international system; we will never win unlesswe all win simultaneously and the sooner we realize that the better. Throughout eons ofhistory there hasn t been a single international system that has managed to uniformlybring us together, but maybe the destiny of our species depends on the aversion of thatultimate ideal? People will naturally champion their identities, but that should remind usof our commonalities that make us irrevocably human. There is no such thing as auniversal identity that sustains the livelihoods of individuals, but there is such a thing ashomogenous harmony; identities of universalism threaten us with an authoritativesystem while homogenous harmony allows diverse groups of people to come togetherfor the purpose of bringing out the best in each other.

That is how we can build an international system that is truly expressive of thehuman condition. An atrocity is an atrocity no matter where it occurs and the plights ofthe victimized deserve a platform where their voices are fully heeded. The world willnever transform itself into a paradise that thrives off absolute perfection becausehumankind isnt built for that. Our imperfect ion is noticed whenever we flaunt ourexclusivity from each other arbitrarily assuming that some kind of virtue rests in anundefined horizon. Acknowledging that fault will bring us closer to homogenousharmony one increment at a time.
