Information and Communication Technology at School’s Everyday Life - A research and development project

The project produces evidence-based and sustainable solutions for the application of ICT at school’s everyday life. The core goal is to develop pedagogically and technologically sound models, practices and materials that can be flexibly and smoothly integrated into the life of every school in Finland.

The project is realized via a broad collaborative research network :12 pilot schools; 12 university based research groups; Technical Research Center in Finland (VTT), 28 private enterprises; Finnish municipalities; and international partners.

The project has been organized into four thematic research packages: 1) Pedagogical models and technological innovations, 2) ICT in and across disciplinary subjects, 3) mobile learning and the production of learning materials, 4) Public-private partnership models, infrastructure and accountability
