FOOTYFooty is my favourite sport, it is really fun. I play for Chirnside football club. I play with some of my friends and have played since under 9’s when I was 7. I was also in auskick that was done on Saturday, we used to do some drills and then play a short game at the end.

HOW TO PLAYSome of the basic skills you need to know is how to mark, how

to kick and handball, also how to pick up the ball. How to marl: to mark the ball you try to put your hands in a w

shape and time your hands to catch it.How to pick up the ball: to pick up the ball there isnt really a

way to do it but it takes practice but a good way to do it is to keep it in front of you at all times

How to kick: you hold the ball in both your hands and make the ball inline with you foot and then guide the ball down to your foot with one hand and kick it with the back of your toes or the front of your foot.

How to handball the ball: to handball the ball you lay the ball on one of t=your hands and make your other hand a into a fist and hit the ball making your thumb id on the outside of the fist.
