MY ACCOUNTS

The “My Accounts” tab shows you just that: information on each of your accounts with First Interstate Bank. You can click on the “Quick Peek” option next to each account to view current balance information as well as transactions from the last five days. Links to detailed information on each of your accounts are indicated in orange text. To view more information for each account, simply click the link. You’ll be directed to an “Account History” page, which lists your recent transactions. You’ll even be able to see check images.

For businesses with dual control, approval is required when an Automated Clearing House (ACH) file or wire payment is initiated, when an ACH or wire template is created/edited, and when a Business Administrator adds/edits a business user. For single administrator businesses, approval is not required (the approval widget displays but is not used).

MOVE MONEY

The “Move Money” tab gives you options to move money between your First Interstate Bank accounts (internal transfers) or make external transfers.

Internal TransfersWith internal transfers, you can easily move money from one First Interstate Bank account to another, or pay on your First Interstate Bank loans by transferring money directly from your account. Simply click on the “Internal Transfers” option from the “Move Money” menu and follow the instructions. You can even establish recurring transfers at intervals of your choosing. Once established, a list of scheduled transfers can be viewed from the options on the “Move Money” tab.

External TransfersIf you have access to external transfers, you have the ability to transfer money to/from First Interstate and accounts at another financial institution by sending an ACH or domestic wire. Businesses with ACH access have the ability to send/collect money from individuals or businesses at First Interstate or at other financial institutions. Businesses with wire access have the ability to send domestic and/or foreign wires.

Business clients can make a payment (via ACH or wire), collect a payment (via ACH), or upload an ACH pass-through file using “Make/Collect a payment” under the “Move Money” tab. Clients can use existing templates once they are built or make a one-time payment. Monthly limits are also displayed on this screen.

Businesses that use third-party software to build ACH files can send them using the “Upload ACH pass-through file” option under the “Move Money” tab. Note: Businesses with foreign wire capability will be able to send money via Western Union using a link within Business Online Banking.

BUSINESS MOBILE BANKING (APP)

Logging Into Business Mobile BankingOnce you’ve downloaded your new First Interstate Bank Business Mobile Banking app, logging into Business Mobile Banking is simple. When you log into Business Mobile Banking for the first time, on or after August 14, 2017, your username will be the same as your Business Online Banking username. After your initial login, you may choose to login in one of the following ways:

Eyeprint ID (iPhone®, iPad®, and AndroidTM)

Eyeprint ID delivers a password-free, biometric login experience for mobile devices. This patented solution uses your smartphone’s camera to image and patternmatch blood vessels in the whites of the eye, making the authentication process quick and easy. To enable Eyeprint ID, access the “Settings” menu within the Business Mobile Banking app. First-time use will require a brief setup process.

Touch ID (iPhone®, iPad®, and AndroidTM)

Touch ID is a simple, secure way to access Business Mobile Banking using built-in, fingerprint sensor technology instead of traditional login credentials. After your initial login with your username and password, you will receive an automatic prompt asking if you would like to use Touch ID to login. If accepted, you will be able to login using your fingerprint the next time the Business Mobile Banking app is opened.

Business Online Banking Credentials

You may, of course, choose to log into the Business Mobile Banking app using the username and password you have established for Business Online Banking.

Navigating Business Mobile Banking

First Interstate’s Business Mobile Banking app allows you to accomplish your most important banking tasks with just a couple taps. This section highlights the main functionality of Business Mobile Banking.

VIEW ACCOUNTS

Access the same accounts (deposits and loans) that are available in Business Online Banking. For your protection, account numbers are masked to only show the last four digits.

The current balance of each account is prominently displayed; available balance is the secondary balance displayed. If available, loan accounts show balances and payment due dates.

Tapping directly on any of the accounts takes you to the “Account History” page for that account. From this screen, you can view available balance, current balance, as well as pending and posted transactions. The “Account History” screen automatically loads history as you scroll.

TRANSFERS

Need to move money from one First Interstate Bank account to another? It’s easy. Select “Transfer” from the main menu, then choose the accounts you want to transfer money to/from by tapping on that area. Then, enter the amount of the transfer. Once you tap the “Transfer” button, you will be asked to confirm the transaction. Once the transfer is confirmed, you will see a “Success” message.
