intercom into, and out from., the cell phone). If the phone does NOT have this capability, IT CANNOT BE INTERFACEDWITH A FIRECOM INTERCOM SYSTEM.

2. A Firecom 110, 210, 3000C or a 3010 Series Intercom.Interfacing a 3000A or a 3000B intercom with a Cell Phone is NOT recommended.

3. A MR-0X Mobile Radio Interface Cable.4. The appropriate plugs/jacks to interface with the Cell Phone.5. A knowledge of which inputs/outputs are provided on the Cell Phone6. A Radio-Transmit Headset MUST be used. An Intercom-Only headset will NOT be able to transmit on a cell phone.

INSTALLATION:1. Install the Intercom system according to the instructions in the Installation Manual for the intercom.2. The Cell Phone is interfaced to the Intercom using a MR-0X Mobile Radio Interface Cable.3. Using the information contained in the table, connect the appropriate wires to the appropriate places on the Cell Phone/Jack to

4. Plug the 9-Pin plug on the MR-0X into the jack on the rear of the intercom.Make sure to tighten the 2 screws on the plug of the MR-0X. Ifthese screws are not tightened, the 9-Pin plug may vibrate looseand cause problems with transmission, reception and other in-terface problems.

5. Perform the appropriate adjustments for the Transmit Audio and ReceiveAudio as outlined in the Intercom Installation Manual.

VERY IMPORTANT!!!! Failure to properly perform these adjust-ments as directed may result in problems hearing and in transmitting when using the intercom system.

OPERATION: When properly installed and interfaced, you will be able to hear the Cell Phone from ALL headset positions in the intercom

system. The Red PTT on the headset MUST be pressed to talk on the Cell Phone, unless the "Full-Duplex Mod" is installed (see

below).

THE FULL-DUPLEX MOD:The "Full-Duplex Mod" is a factory modification which can be installed on a 3020 or 3025. With this Modification, the Cell Phoneshould be interfaced into the "Radio B" port on the intercom. When Radio B isselected, the intercom will automatically key the radio for the headset position onthe back of the intercom shown in the diagram to the right. Any other Radio-Transmit headset may also speak on the Cell Phone by pressing the Red PTT onthe headset.
