Square2 and Sudoko QuiltThursday, July 28th 1:00-3:30 or 5:30-8:00Taught by: Jane StillmanCost: $10.00 + ruler
Jane will be teaching you how to use another Deb Tucker ruler - the Square2 for making a square in a square block. Jane has made her quilt with children’s novelty fabrics - sort of like an eye-spy quilt. She then placed her blocks in nine patch sections using the concept of Sudoko puzzles for placement. These blocks can be made with any fabrics although it is great fun to use children’s prints. For the beginner and beyond.

Sew Nice Fabric ChallengeAnd the Winner is.......Colleen Hacker
What a fun birthday party with all the projects that were made using our challenge fabric. We had vests and dresses and purses and a Chinese take-out box and a full size quilt and lap quilts and a rainbow trout mobile and a pin cushion and a mat with tea cups and a hot air balloon and a pillow and a table runner. And the cake was really good too. Voting was really hard as every project that was turned in was so creative and used the challenge fabric in such a great way. If you missed out on the fun you will be able to see photos on our website soon of all the entries. And we will have another challenge in the future so keep watch for the info in our newsletters.
