U.S dollar fell against the euro
Copper prices rose near four-month highs on Monday
Gold held steady near $1,250 an ounce
Aluminium, lead hit 1-month high
U.S. oil prices slipped towards $74 per barrel
Gold held steady near $1,250 an ounce in Europe on Monday as expectations for a rise
in physical demand going into the fourth quarter supported prices, but with gains limited
by a recovery in risk appetite. Copper prices rose near four-month highs on Monday as
investors bet on improved demand following better-than-forecast jobs data in the United
States, the world's largest economy. U.S. oil prices slipped towards $74 per barrel on
Monday as the end of the U.S. driving season.
