MARGARET is sketching the USS SAN DIEGO on her art pad.

EXT. SENECA’S FRONT PORCH - CONTINUOUS

SENECA is swinging on the porch with FOUNDER on her lap.

Dare presses “SENECA” AND “MARGARET”.

SENECA

Margaret has her show today.

DARE

That’s the last step.

MARGARET

He just does three steps and jumps

off the ship. He said he would even

practice.

DARE

So we can practice?

Hour, Timothy’s dancing!

MARGARET

He said he would even practice.

CLAIRE

I have to bring livestock to

Tulare.

DARE

We’ll vlog it to you, mom. It’s

gonna be funny!

EXT. RESEARCH LAB - ESTABLISHING

A windsock softly waves atop a flagpole on the launch pad.

INT. TIMOTHY’S LAB - CONTINUOUS

TIMOTHY is entering data in his lab computer, its screen revealing “NASA KIDS SPACE CAMP - DAILY CHALLENGE”.

ALPHA’S SUPER CRITTER INSIGNIA on his basketball shoe.

Alpha is on one knee tying his shoelace, sneering.

ROGER’S GOLD STICKER

Roger is sneering back at Alpha, on one knee, tying his shoelace.

(NOTE: Roger is clad in plaid Bermuda shorts, yellow polo shirt, and white tube socks. His right sock partially covering an obvious green cast. A gold sticker on the cast reads: “YOU’RE A STAR!”.)

Roger chases Alpha to the dais.

SFX: BASKETBALL HOOP SLAM DUNK

Dare presses “TIMOTHY”.

DARE (CONT’D)

(amused)

We want to see you dance?

TIMOTHY

I need an algorithm, please? I’m

all ready grounded. I can’t go!

MOLLY

(whines)

SFX: CRASH

Alpha and Roger slam into the wall. The ball squirts out and a lab ROBOT zooms in signaling a flagrant foul. Two medical Robots apply a cast on Roger’s arm.

DARE

What happened to Roger?

TIMOTHY

He’s why I’m grounded!

DARE

Is he okay?

TIMOTHY

More like is Alpha, okay?

Alpha smirks.

EXT. PASTURE - CONTINUOUS

BASIA grazes.

EXT. VIRTUAL SCHOOL BUS - DAY

PIXIE is scanning library book returns on her computer.

She opens the gift box, revealing holograph strawberry fruit bars.

MRS. SCIENCEFELD (CONT’D)

Oh, Pixie??? Look what we have for

the kids, today???

(whines)

Bunk bed bombardier. Security film

showed they were watching an Errol

Flynn movie.

MARGARET

Aw!!! Is he okay? I had everything

ready? Now what?

FREDERICK

I should do a drum session!

MARGARET

Then no one will be okay.

DARE

He doesn’t act hurt?

Pixie is marking a myPad clipboard taking inventory of the fruit bars. She licks her lips and wags her eyebrows.

Mrs. Sciencefeld is reading the gift card.

MRS. SCIENCEFELD

(singing - feigning male

voice)

Give my regards to the library, and

the fruit bars to the kids.

PIXIE

(growling)

MRS. SCIENCEFELD

(winking privacy)

Don’t be rude to our guest, Pixie

Twinkle, he’s the one who brought

the fruit bars you’re counting??

The jalopy limo travels across the Golden Gate Bridge.

INT. JALOPY LIMO - CONTINUOUS

MORTIMER is standing in front of an empty open galley refrigerator.

MORTIMER

Arghhh???

The dumbwaiter hands are performing a magic trick for BIG MIKE with a top hat and magic stick.

A large wedge of cheese on a platter ‘magically’ appears.

MORTIMER (CONT’D)

I had a large piece of cheddar in

here, boss???

SFX: BAM BAM BAM BAM

MAYOR BART grabs Mortimer’s collar, repeatedly body slamming him in the wrestling ring.

Big Mike wipes his mouth with his linen napkin bib, flashing his psycho eye.

BACK TO LIBRARY

Pixie is in top hat and tails performing a tap dance for the gift box.

Mrs. Sciencefeld is posting top hats on student profile pages as they wipe across her screen and flash “WILL ATTEND”.

MRS. SCIENCEFELD

Oh, Pixie, don’t you just love the

theatre?

STARS CIRCLING MORTIMER’S HEAD

Mortimer twists his mustache.

MORTIMER

You guys are afraid of the library.

SFX: CRASH

Mortimer goes flying into the limo flat screen.

Pixie is checking in book returns at her desk.

PIXIE

SFX: MOTORCYCLE ENGINE STARTING

Two lab robots approach Alpha, affix his Flight Instructions briefcase to his wrist, place his LAB ID card in his pocket and tape on his handlebar mustache.

(NOTE: Roger wears a second cast on his left arm. The cast has a red sticker reading “FLAGRANT FOUL”.)

Roger runs for the sidecar and hops in.

TIMOTHY

He can play my part for Margaret.

Alpha backs the motorcycle into the Time Travel Tube. Roger and Alpha trade salutes with each other and Timothy.

SFX: WHOOSH ZOOM

Alpha, Roger, and the space motorcycle dematerialize.

EXT. DEEP SPACE - CONTINUOUS

Alpha cruises the Intergalactic Freeway.

Roger points to Alpha’s monitor revealing a ‘You’re A Star’ sticker on screen.

Alpha shrugs his shoulders, shakes his head.

SFX: MOTORCYCLE ENGINE REVVING

A cloud floats over the fender fin.

Teddy leads Roxanne through security.

TEDDY

We’re clear.

Roxanne inserts her first memory stick into Teddy’s computer: revealing her UNN footage of Roger leaping from the top bunk.

TEDDY (CONT’D)

He’s already wearing two casts,

Roxanne???

ROXANNE

He can’t be grounded! He’s not even

old enough to be off grounded?

Roxanne swaps memory sticks: revealing her UNN footage of the Library Channel profile page with a star sticker from Roger.

But kids today don’t need

shortcuts. They’ve got the whole

world at their keyboard and it’s

our duty to keep their keyboards

from taking shortcuts!!!!

A light breeze pushes a windsock.

GURDEEP is smiling, opening his lunch box, revealing a bologna sandwich and fruit snack bar.

SFX: WHOOSH

The office doors open revealing two lab robots bringing an obvious three foot long medical bill to Gurdeep’s desk.

ROBOT

(synthesized)

Holy tamolians!

A FORTY-EIGHT MILLION DOLLAR MEDICAL BILL FOR ONE CAST

The second robot approaches Gurdeep’s desk and lunch box, grabs the fruit bar and swallows it.

ROBOT (CONT’D)

(synthesized)

Strawberrius sanctum.

MRS. FAEBER

Gurpy?

BACK TO TIMOTHY’S LAB

TIMOTHY

My dad’s been catching it all

morning.

PAUL

And where is Roger? He even said I

was a star!

Poor guy? The Cadettes are calling

him all the candy, and if we don’t

EXT. DEEP SPACE - CONTINUOUS

(NOTE: Roger wears a foot cast and an arm cast with sling. A live feed from Timothy’s lab shows on the space motorcycle control console.)

Alpha is cruising the Intergalactic Freeway with Roger standing in the sidecar unrolling a space para-sail.

PAUL (CONT’D)

Timothy!!!!!!! What is he doing?

TIMOTHY

Our homework! He’s rehearsing!

Roger sails off.

BACK TO GURDEEP’S OFFICE

A lab robot is stamping the medical bill on Gurdeep’s desk “DELIVERED”.

MRS. FAEBER

Gurpy? Where is my little

paratrooper?

Gurdeep enters data in his computer; his screen wiping to a live feed of Roger para-sailing. He grabs the lab PA mic.

TIMOTHY

Pull the ripcord!!!!

Patrons pass by.

INT. LIBRARY - CONTINUOUS

Mrs. Sciencefeld is behind the book counter watching Pixie place a “You’re a star” sticker on the gift box.

MRS. SCIENCEFELD

See Pixie? Kindness matters.

PIXIE

(growls)

MRS. SCIENCEFELD

If you expect a reward, young lady?

PIXIE

(whining)

PIXIE HOWLING (ALA - TO THE MOON)

More cattle crossing.

You know what his problem is?

The dumbwaiter lens zooms on Mortimer in the center of its cross hairs.

MORTIMER (CONT’D)

Look at him just eating our cheese,

boss???

SFX: ZIP

The dumbwaiter lens turns to Mayor Bart.

SFX: WHAM

Mortimer is crashing to the flat screen.

MORTIMER (CONT’D)

Arghhh!!!!

pantomime.

DARE

The office doors open to reveal two lab robots escorting Alpha, Roger, and Cohan to Gurdeep’s desk.

A Robot hands Gurdeep a bill marked FIFTY-TWO MILLION DOLLARS for health insurance.

Roger approaches Gurdeep placing a sticker on his lunch box.

TIMOTHY

We were doing our homework, dad??

Gurdeep forces a smile, Roger grabs Gurdeep’s sandwich.

PAUL

No, sir, we did not calculate it

was going to cost one hundred

million dollars and a bologna

sandwich???

Cohan glares at Gurdeep.

Alpha bobs his eyebrows.

PAUL

No, sir??? Don’t let the award-

winning Broadway hit thing throw

you? He’s a director, sir, and he

wants you to star in his next

basketball game??? Sir, it’s

homework, and its like this

everyday???

Alpha dashes to Gurdeep’s side, placing his arm around him and spinning a basketball on his fingertip.

We have all our homework done, dad,

and the Cadettes want to go

riding??

Alpha leaps on Gurdeep’s desk, spinning his basketball.

PAUL

Oh, sir, please??? You can’t stop

Cadettes???
