CAREER HISTORY UNITED STATES ARMY 1989 – PRESENT DIRECTOR, LOGISTICS, OPERATIONS AND STRATEGIC READINESS – PENTAGON, WASHINGTON, DC 2015 – PRESENT Responsible for management and assessment of equipment readiness reported by 6,000 units, including formulating policy, and ensuring timely and accurate collection, analysis, preparation, and presentation of readiness data and trends to executive staff. • Responsible for leadership of three primary branches; Strategic Readiness, Publications, and Current

Operations. Coordinate with myriad divisions to resolve strategic, operational and tactical level unit, fleet or capability sustainment readiness issues.

• Established a multi-layered working group to solve the challenge of maintaining equipment readiness for deployed units whose equipment doesn’t deploy with them. Achieved a short term fix of a $20M Army Training Program, enabling units to maintain equipment readiness at a rate above 90%.

• Led a cross functional team to solve a crisis situation with depreciating fleet of 7,500 trailers. Designed a short term solution at lowest cost, and a mid-term solution using available funds, enabling a progressive solution to rebuild or replace the affected fleet within the next two years.

• Monitors worldwide current operations through leadership of the Logistics Operations Center and leads enterprise solutions to strategic sustainment crisis's.

DIRECTOR, LOGISTICS, SUPPLY AND, ARMY FIELD SUPPORT – AFGHANISTAN AND KUWAIT 2014 – 2015 Provided and synchronized sustainment for Army, Joint and Coalition Forces within Afghanistan. • Providing logistics, housing, and sustenance to over 10,000 military personnel and redeployment of $7B

of U.S. Government equipment from Afghanistan to the U.S., six weeks ahead of schedule, enabling rapid transition to the ongoing operation.

• Reorganized the organization from three divisions of 23,000 employees in 19 locations, to two divisions of 14,500 employees in 9 locations, across Afghanistan, achieving mandated staffing level and $65M reduction in contracts.

• Synchronized distribution and sustainment for the Army materiel enterprise in support of the warfighter, leading a team of supply experts to reduce equipment loss total from $2.2B to $900M.

• Established a method and procedural guidance for measuring and describing the Strategic Readiness of the Army to better frame and inform discussions for and with senior officials, publishing Army Regulation / Strategic Readiness six months ahead of schedule.

• Led cross functional teams in software development of Defense Readiness Reporting System, improving functionality to provide readiness information to key stakeholders.

• Produced the assessment of the Army’s strategic readiness each fiscal quarter and represented the Army’s position to senior executives in the Department of Defense and the professional staffs of both houses of the US Congress Armed Services Committees.

DIRECTOR, LOGISTICS AND SUPPLY – FORT CAMPBELL, KY & JALALABAD, AFGHANISTAN 2009 – 2010 Provided all municipal and emergency services for area of responsibility, in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, comprised of more than 4,500 people, 350 vehicles, critical systems and supplies. • Responsible for readiness, training maintenance & leader development of the division, supply and

DIRECTOR OF LOGISTICS AND ENGINEERING, SPECIAL OPERATIONS – HOMESTEAD, FL 2007 - 2009 Director of Logistics, serving as Principal Advisor to executive for all aspects of logistics in support of missions and activities conducted in the area of responsibility. • Responsible for maintaining property and military equipment valued in excess of $20M, and manages

the purchase program with annual expenditures of more than $250K. • Developed a $5M infrastructure plan, enabling partnering with other nations to train their forces to

combat terrorism. • Built three bases in Colombia in less than two weeks, housing more than 1,000 personnel, for a complex
