Theoriginaleditionof“ThePrideoftheWolverines”hasbeenscrupulouslypreservedinthishandsomenewissue.Inmyediting,Isimply
endeavoredtoclarifyambiguousnuances,dynamics,andinconsistentarticulationsorphrasings,whichprobablyresultedfromlimitedspaceintheoriginalmarch-sizeformat.Thevisualproblemhasbeenherebyeliminated.Thepercussionpartshavebeenseparatedbyinstrumentandtheirarticulationsclarified.
Irecommendthatthecharacteristicallyloose-slungfielddrumbeusedtogetherwiththeconventionalsnaredrumandthatthebrassdrumten-
