Female’s In Transition IVF Cycle™FIT-IVF™
RMFC
What are Females in Transition?
Usually over age 35, mostly over 40
Have been told by physician that they have “Poor Ovarian Reserve”
In other words, they are heading toward menopause
Perimenopause usually starts about 10 years before True Menopause, which on average is when a Females is 50.5 years of age
So, at age 40 most Females show declining reproductive potential
May or may not have been rejected by IVF programs because they do not feel you are a good candidate for using your own eggs
Have been told directly, or indirectly, that you must use Donor Eggs
Are NOT ready to call it quits on their own eggs
What is RMFC’s FIT IVF?
Females in Transition(FIT) IVF is a program in parts
Part 1
Test to determine Egg/Ovarian Reserve
OAR, AMH, FSH
Part 2
Discuss with Females and partner their goals and attitudes towards creating a family
If a family is love, then using Donor Eggs is appropriate
If a family is love PLUS and ONLY their genetic contributions are to be used, then FIT IVF may be an option
Discuss the “poor prognosis” with the couple/Females
If they still want to try, then offer FIT IVF Program
Part 3… follows
