I hope all is well with you, family and business. If you recall, last month was the first time I “experimented” with this new format for this Newsletter. Although I clearly do not do this for a living, it seemed to come out better than I thought. In it, I tried to list members, contact information and some pictures in a more professional format. A few people even emailed me with some compliments. Thank you.

The hope here is to provide yet another tool to help promote our small business members in West Hempstead AND the surrounding towns. I can’t promise that I will have the time to produce the Newsletter every month but I’ll do what I can.

February General Meeting

Our latest Chamber meeting was held on February 12th

at the

Venus Restaurant. If you could not attend, you missed out on

networking with members, good food and two business

presentations. The first was by Zehava Schechter, Esq., who

spoke about Surviving the Fiscal Cliff & Reducing Your Property

Taxes and the second was by Martin H. Cohen, CPA, who spoke

about Business Tax Savings Strategies. The Member Businesses of

the Month was Christa Mally of HOT STOP CRUISES, INC.
