THERMAL & ACOUSTIC TREATMENTTwo types of foam are used to achieve a high standard of acoustic and thermal performance. Both foam types are class ‘O’ rated and selected to achieve a superior performing product. Matching attenuators can also be included to reduce noise if required.

CONTROLSAll fan coil unit controls are contained within a purpose made control box mounted on the side of the unit. Typically we fit free issue controls to suit. Analogue and digital control options are available.

Our fan coil units provide temperature control by heating or cooling air in an internal space. LTHW and CHW circulates through the copper pipework coil, heating or cooling fresh air and room air drawn across it. The supply air is blown into the internal space with the fan which has infinitely variable speed control.Our units offer a flexible and efficient solution that can provide heating or cooling variations to multiple rooms in a single building.

SF 280The horizontally mounted SF 280 offers an energy efficient heating and cooling system designed for easy installation. Cased in galvanised steel and driven by our most efficient brushless ECM motor the unit operates with infinitely variable fan speed.

8,4ECM TECHNOLOGYThe ECM motor with the special smart card is pressure independent. This means irrespective of downstream pressure the fan will produce a constant air volume. In addition this air volume can be easily set via the BMS by adjusting the voltage to the calibrated value.

ATTENUATORSTwo lengths of attenuators are available (185 mm and 400 mm) to reduce noise levels and increase the air volume range of each size. Manufactured from 1.2 mm folded galvanised mild steel and lined with 25 mm class ‘O’ acoustic foam.

THE SF 280 INCLUDES AUTOMATIC POWER FACTOR CORRECTION, REDUCING ENERGY CONSUMPTION

HORIZONTAL FAN DECKThe SF range of fan coils has a unique horizontally mounted fan deck using ECM Motors. Specific Fan Powers SFP as low as 0.15 W/l/s can be achieved. Some units have a single fan but even on the largest fan coils only two fans are needed.

The SF 280 includes the unique ECM horizontal mounted fan to give the most energy efficient solution with specific fan powers down to 0.15 W/l/s. The Unit is available in five sizes with the option of adding an attenuator to improve acoustic performance.
