I could not stay another day, To laugh, to love, to work, or play, Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found peace at the close of the day. If my parting has left a void, Then fill it with remembered joys. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Oh yes, these things I too will miss. Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free

I’m following the path God has laid for see.

I took His hand when I heard His call,

I turned by back and left it all.

I could not stay another day,

To laugh, to love, to work, or play,

Tasks left undone must stay that way.

I found peace at the close of the day.

If my parting has left a void,

Then fill it with remembered joys.

A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss,

Oh yes, these things I too will miss.

Be not burdened with times of sorrow,

I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.

My life’s been full, I savored much,

Good friends, good times, a loved one’s touch,

Perhaps my time seemed all too brief,

Don’t lengthen it now with undo grief.

Lift up your heart and peace to thee

God wanted me now; He set me free.

The family of Loretta Butler Campbell gratefully acknowledges all acts of

kindness shown during the passing of our loved one. Special thanks are

extended to the Temple of Faith Bible Way Church Family.

May God continue to bless and keep you.

For I am ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth

there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge,

shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto

all them also that love his appearing.

II Timothy 4: 6-8 (KJV)
