Administrator LevelF5 Certified Administrator status indicates understanding of fundamental network and application delivery princi-ples and technologies. Professionals certified at this level are capable of the day-to-day management of multi-ven-dor Application Delivery Networks that incorporate technologies based on the F5 TMOS operating system. Their skills include basic troubleshooting, intelligent assessment of the most likely causes of problems, and informed communication with support specialists to jointly achieve resolutions.

Technology Specialist LevelF5 Certified Technology Specialist status is granted to individuals qualified to design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot advanced F5 product features to enhance the effectiveness of an Application Delivery Network. They possess understanding of underlying principles—from SSL-based VPN implementation to symmetric and asymmet-ric acceleration—and can draw on that insight to integrate specific F5 technologies with other platforms and prod-ucts comprising a complete enterprise application delivery solution.

Solution Expert LevelSolution Expert certification verifies the achievement of multiple Technology Specialist certifications and denotes an individual able to integrate various F5 technologies with products from other vendors and across a variety of appli-cations to achieve comprehensive enterprise solutions specific to a focus area such as availability, security, or optimization.

C3 – F5 Certified Solution Expert (F5-CSE)In order to be eligible for these certifications, you must first achieve certified technology specialist in one or more areas and then pass and specif-ic solutions expert exam.Requirements• F5-CA Certification• Exams currently in development

Application Delivery Engineer LevelThe concluding certification level, achieved only by the most highly skilled professionals, recognizes mastery in multiple facets of effective application delivery. Fluent across the technology stack from the network layer through the application layer, those achieving F5 Certified Application Delivery Engineer status are capable of incorporating all necessary technologies in the design and implementation of large-scale, enterprise-wide application deploy-ments. Professionals with Master Application Delivery Engineer certification have specifically demonstrated their capabilities in real-world scenarios.

C4 – F5 Certified Application Delivery Engineer (F5-CADE)

To achieve the level of Application Delivery Engineer, you must first achieve multiple CSE certifications and pass a written exam.Requirements• F5-CSE in at least three (3) areas• Exams currently in development
