eXultet on iPad / iPhone / iPod

1- Introduction

Apple Mobiles devices uses by default the Safari browser. Some options didn't exists on this browser, for example the Save as… option which is needed to download files.

That's why you will have to install an other browser on your Apple Device.

We tested many, and Mercury seems to be a user friendly one. Mercury is a complete free browser, and you will be able to use it every time, especialy when you need to download files from Internet.

2- How to install Mercury ? (Only once) :

• Go to the AppStore • type "Mercury" in the search field (top right) • Choose the free version, and install it.

3- How to download your files with Mercury ?

• Open the app Mercury • Go to eXultet.net and connect as customer : click on "Mon Compte" (my account) and type your e-

mail address and password. • Then click on the "Voir" button to open your last order :

• Keep your finger on the first download link. A contextual menu will open, then choose "Download link" :

• Your file begin to download. You have to wait this download is finished before clicking on the next download link.

• When your downloads are finished, you can reach your files by clicking on the top right icon, and then clicking on "Files" :

A new window will open, showing you the list of your downloaded files :

4- How to listen my MP3 files ? (Audio files and Music) :

• In the list of your download files, click on the file you want to listen, then click on the play button :

Nota : It's not possible to directly transfer your mp3 files in iTunes app without using a computer.

To do so :

♦ Use your computer (Mac or PC or Linux) to download your order with the browser.

♦ Open iTunes on the computer, and open the playlist you synchronize with your mobile device.

♦ Drag and drop your MP3 files on the iTunes windows. (your files will be added in your playlist).

♦ Plug your mobile device on your computer (USB cable)

♦ Then, synchronize iTunes from your computer to your mobile device. (MP3 files will be copied to the memory of your device, and added to it's playlist).

5- Lecture des PDF (Sheet Music) :

• In the list of your download files, click on the PDF file you want to see. For a full screen view, click on the double arrow at top middle :

• You alos can export your file in an other app, (for example Adobe Acrobat Reader or iBooks) : click on the arrow on the right side of the file name, then click on "Open with an other Apps" ; then click ont he apps icon you want :

6- How to read an eBook ? (ePUB files) :

• Install an apps for e-books (for exemple iBooks by Apple from the AppStore) :

• In the list of your download files, click on the small arrow (right of the file name), then select "Change name of..."

• Modify the extension (i.o. the three last letters of the file name) "zip" to "epub" :

to "epub" :

Then click on "Save"

• Export your file to the apps iBooks by clicking on the little arrow on the right of the file ; then select "Open with others Apps".

• And then select the app : iBooks
