I am writing to expose your company to a great opportunity as a motivated vendor for, “Experience Life,” book tour.

The objectives for the program Everyone knows reading is important, but have you ever asked yourself why is it so important? Here’s a list of eight reasons why reading is important.

Reading can help an individual to explore new things. Through reading an individual will find themselves open to new things, to new information, new ways to solve a problem new way to achieve one thing. Who knows the person may find a new hobby within it. Who knows an indi-vidual might actually explore to one thing and it becomes a career and success in the future.

Self-improvement can be discovered helping an individual to form a better you. Through reading and individual can learn to understand the world more; through reading you get to understand more on a topic that interest you. Columbia, SC- Two male authors with a passion to share their experiences with the world are working to release their book careers, to inspire and em-power others.

Torrey Rush of South Carolina has self-published his first novel, Tears of a Lonely Son, involving his experience with the absence of his father, the highly emotional read takes the reader through the process of how to release and overcome life obstacles.

Cedric Nettles also a native of South Carolina has self-published his first novel, Torrential Waters, Ce-dric takes his readers through an emotional and impactful journey, as he deals with self-identity, relationships, and being bullied.

Meet Author Torrey Rush Mr. Rush is the Founder of Carolina Community Development Corporation, a 501 (c) (3) non-prof-it organization that specializes in promoting and maintaining affordable housing, business owner-ship, and the economic vitality of Richland County and other counties throughout South Carolina.

After attending East Clarendon High School, he re-ceived a full football scholarship to Liberty Universi-ty where he was a 4-year starter at Free Safety. He accumulated many accolades including being a Football Gazette All-American, Division I–AA All-In-

dependent Player, Virginia Collegiate All-State Team and several Player of the Week awards. He graduated in May 2000 with a Bachelor of Science Degree from

Liberty University. After college he spent a sea-son as a member of the NFL Europe profession-al football team Barcelona Dragons.

He is also the Vice-Chair of Board of Zoning Appeals for Richland County, a South Caroli-na 2nd Congressional District Minority Affairs Commission Member and served on Attorney Alan Wilson Inaugural Gala Transition Team. He is currently a candidate for Richland County Council District 7 in Columbia SC. He is married to Darci Strickland Rush and they have 3 girls Logan, Layla and Lauren.

Meet Author Cedric Nettles He is the founder of Sage Rage Productions. Cedric is the author of ‘Torrential Waters’ and has a passion for creating other positive and hard-hitting stories. His first film was a docu-mentary on his alma mater which was the first black school to be accredited by the state Department of Education in South Carolina called ‘Mayo High School: 105 Years of Golden Heritage.”

He also served as a communications specialist and paratrooper for elite military intelligence unit. Later he was appointed squad leader for signal intelligence unit for the 10th Mountain Di-vision based in Fort Drum NY. He spent 6 years working behind the scenes for WPDE/WWMB Florence/Myrtle Beach. Cedric has acted in independent films and commercials, modeled, as well as consulted on other projects.

2013 VENDOR APPLICATION

The “Experience Life Book Tour is an indoor event; if you choose not to attend (or) participate

due to the unwarranted conditions no fees will be returned. All events will take place rain or

shine. Events are not rescheduled.

TBA (To be Announced) notification(s) are established adjournments ordered by our Publicist,

each (TBA) has its appropriate press release date and time. Vendor(s) will receive a 72-ad-

vance notice to assure the proper details and consideration is given.

Please note:

Even though there are power sources near some of the vendor spaces, these outlets are for

vendors who have purchased electricity. Only vendors that made reservations for power on

their application are allowed to use this power. This includes power for lighting tents, any elec-

tronic equipment (i.e. TV’s DVD Players) or any household or industrial cooking devices. NO

POWER IS AVAIALBE UNLESS RESERVED ON THIS APPLICATION.

The above devices are beyond the capability of our power and cause frequent outages,

resulting in a disruption to the event. Any vendor using the power in a manner not approved

will be asked to unplug from the power source immediately. Vendor will not be reimbursed for

Vendor Space Fee or any product they have purchased for the event.

VENDOR MUST SUPPLY OWN DUCT TAPE TO SECURE ALL CORDS AND ITS VENDOR RESPONSIBILTY

TO SECURE CORDS.

VENDORS ARE REQUIRED TO SUBMIT A FULL PACKET. NO VENDOR IS ALLOWED ACCESS WITHOUT AN APPROVAL LETTER FOR THE EXPERIENCE LIFE BOOK TOUR

Each vendor booth must be reserved in advance. No booth will be held without the required deposit. Assignment of vendor space will be at the Publicist’s discretion and the vendor must exhibit within the space provided.

Full payment is required to reserve space. No space will be reserved until payment is received. A ven-dor may cancel this agreement upon the receipt of written notification to the promoter (there are no refunds we can issue a credit for associated available vendor opportunities).

If vendor is not accepted due to vendor requirements, a new registration may be submitted. Must supply table set-up (6ft table required) with black linen ONLY

The vendor agrees to hold blameless, any and all parties associated with the Experience Life Book Tour, staff, authors, promoters, marketing team and et al. and expressly releases it from all liability from loss or damage caused to persons or claim or injury, damage to any person or property, together with all costs in connection with the defense thereto, including attorney’s fees.

Vendors are required to set up 30 to 45 minutes prior to opening of event (for uniformity purpose all vendors are required to use black linens) all vendors are required to cleanup their space after the event. Any vendor who leaves garbage in their area will be assessed a $125.00 cleaning service bill. Food vendors must provide a trash receptacle near their booth and are responsible for keeping the trash at a minimum.
