Bayside has two heated community swimming pools. Sun Ridge abounds with family fun! Equipped witha 4,000 square foot outdoor pool, large whirlpool(for our guests 18 years and older), kid’s splash zone,locker rooms, kid’s game room and snack bar, thereis something for every member of the family to doat Sun Ridge.

The Commons Neighborhood Pool is a favoritegathering spot for residents of Bayside and featuresa 3,650 square foot free form swimming pool,550 square foot kiddie pool, pool house withshowers and a bocce ball court.

Both facilities are open to all members andregistered guests.

PolliwogsLevel One: Ages 2-5 yearsClass Time: 9:00am

A great class for children that have never had

formal swim lessons or for children that are

uncomfortable in the water.

Kids will learn to: put their face under the

water, blow bubbles, front float & glide, back

float & glide, flutter kick with kickboard,

“doggie paddle”, retrieve a ring from the

bottom of the pool, and jump in from the

side of the pool.

MinnowsLevel Two: Ages 6-8 yearsClass Time: 9:30am

This class is for children that are fairly

comfortable in the water. Kids are able to

put their face under water and blow bubbles,

they have knowledge of front and back float,

flutter kick and “doggie” paddle.

Kids will learn to: flutter kick with

kickboard, rhythmic breathing, free style arm

strokes, elementary back stroke, and will

continue working on floats and glides.

Group swim lessons are

offered in four day sessions

for all skill levels from

June 18th-August 9th.

Space is limited and

registration is required by

the Sunday prior to the

start date. There are no

swim lessons July 2nd-July

5th. The cost is $35 for

four 30 minute lessons.
