2 Photon06 Exhibition Guide

The event will feature exhibitors from allof the industry sectors addressed by theconference sessions. A visit to theexhibition will complement the basicscience of the conference presentationsand the applications focus of the IndustryTechnology Programme to offer a view ofcommercially available products.

Photon06 should attract more than500 delegates, including a considerablenumber of prestigious invited speakersand international attendees fromuniversities, research organisations andindustry. While working on their variousR&D projects, these delegates and theirhost institutions are the direct consumersof an enormous range of products andservices. The conference brings togethernot only the key decision makers but alsothe people who use the equipment, whoinfluence the decisions and those who areset to become the next generation ofdecision makers.

The exhibition will be a valuable hands-on source of new and different products, information and suppliers. It will alsoprovide a networking opportunity for bothindustry and academia to complement thesessions in the Industry TechnologyProgramme. The show provides the rightenvironment and the perfect opportunityfor manufacturers and suppliers to renewold acquaintances and establish newpersonal contacts with key players in thisvital sector. It is an integral and valuablepart of the conference programme. For thedelegates and speakers it is an attractionin its own right, providing them with acollective shop window for the latestdevelopments in the equipment, products, services and consumables that theyrequire for their work.

Event informationThe exhibition is being held in the UpperExhibition Hall of the ManchesterConference Centre in the Renold Buildingat the University of Manchester. Theconference rooms lead off the exhibitionarea. To enable delegates to fit a visit tothe show into a busy schedule, onexhibition days the conference coffeebreaks and lunch will be held in the

exhibition area. These breaks have beenextended specially to make it easier forattendees to visit the show. The postersessions will be located one level belowthe exhibition area and will be accessiblevia stairs in the middle of this area.

The exhibition is open to conferencedelegates and visitors from 9.30 a.m. to
