Tuesday 3rd Horse & Saddlery Sale

A nice entry of Horses & Ponies sold to a steady trade with a top call of £750 twice. The first to the top was a 5yr old

Piebald Gelding on behalf of RM Brown of Looe and travelling to his new home near Taunton, also hitting £750 was

‘Brittania Bay’ a 6yr old Bay Gelding having been turned away for six months. The horse attracted a lot of interest and was

shown well by his owner Tracey Weight of Plymouth before going off with his new owner and first time buyer at Exeter

from Cullompton. Best of the smaller Horses ranged between £250-£400.

A huge entry of saddlery saw plenty of buyers present from all over the South of England, with the best saddles to £170

for Chris West of Kent and £100 for Alan Rich of Bridgwater. Other saddles to £75 (x2) for Messrs Webb of Exmouth

and £65 for Messrs Sandford of Hawkchurch. Smaller items hit £25 for jumping bits from Messrs Dibben of Wincanton

with plenty of bridles and rugs ranging between £20-£25.
