PROJECT DESCRIPTION The proposed project is to set up Solar PV
based Grid connected Advanced Solar Photovoltaic Power Plant at Andhra Pradesh
Companies and Individuals have accepted the importance of Solar power plant for harnessing sun power for energy needs.
Andhra Pradesh as one of the Highest Direct Normal Irradiation , has great potential for Solar Power Plants.
The plant will generate required Direct Electricity from Sun’s Energy using photovoltaic effect.
MARKET & GROWTH DRIVERS
Global Warming & depleting petroleum resources is forcing to generate from renewable source of energy
Energy deficit in the peak hours is to the tune of 13%
3% Purchase Obligation of State Utility i.e. at least 3% of total power purchased by distribution company must come from Renewable Energy
Government policies and subsidies to promote Renewable Energy Per Unit.
CDM benefits makes the investment even more attractive
POTENTIAL OF SOLAR POWER PLANTS IN
ANDHRA PRADESH.
Andhra Pradesh has atleast 12 districts identified as Solar Potential.
300 Days of Active Sun Direct Normal Irradition. So far only two Power plants of all have gone for
execution of , rest are waiting for capable partners.
SOLAR BASED POWER PLANT POLICIES
Supply of Sun’s Energy, in principal agreement Subsidy in the form of Feed In Tariff.(FIT) Open access to the Grid Revenue from Carbon Trading to the tune of XX
crores per annum for 25 years
