Change of the methodology for collecting order readings from the control center in ZFA-F. Now, you can select between the following two algorithms for collecting reading results for the communication system SCS: * OLD: Automatic clients request certain reading results from the SCS Disadvantage: The control center receives very many requests if there any automatic clients. Many requests do not supply a result since the readings were not executed till that moment. * NEW: Automatic clients request desired results at the SCS Advantage: As long as reading results are existing at the SCS, all requests of the automatic clients are executed. Furthermore, no automatic client reserves any reading orders. This leads to a more equal workload of the automatic clients. It is not possible to select other addresses if a COM port is set with a predefined phone number. The connection is reset each time if a dialing attempt is starting if there is no predefined phone number at the COM port. Status processing at meter data maintenance allows arbitrary characters So far all kinds of characters could be used if the status field at the meter data maintenance was edited. The check for invalid statuses was carried out when the meter data maintenance was executed. Now a check is executed at each status character. Additionally the status L was added to this value. This function can be deactivated via the central configuration if you do not want to calculate a consumption but a 0C value. Dynamic opening of helps in web applications depend on the installed language The help files are opened dynamically since not all help files are translated to the corresponding language. It is checked whether the language is existing. If the help is not available in the corresponding language, the English help is opened instead. If the English version of the help is not available as well, the German help is opened. ID: 10640 Installation of all helps in all languages By means of the installation all existing help files are installed in all translated languages. ID: 9316 Splash screen at the start of ZFA-F If you start ZFA-F a splash screen is displayed before you log in. This page displays the current step and a loading bar. If you double-click the start screen a list with all executed steps is opened. The single steps including the corresponding time stamps are written to the log file "zfa_startup.logf". ID: 2550 Windows conform installation The ZFA-F installation was matched to the Microsoft standards for installation of Windows programs. This new installation method is suggested as standard at new installations. As before, you can select the old method but this should only be used if it is mandatory necessary. ID: 5133 Errors fixed in this version Automatisms 18/0 Macro control Assignment of data channel link deleted - macro fails The macro "Recalculate virtual data channels" was marked as incorrect and the recalculation was cancelled if a data channel link was deleted in the meantime (e.g. in a second view) and if the macro view was not refreshed before the macro was executed. 18/1 Macro for automatic grouping Device is grouped even if the criterion "Devices for which reading data are existing" is selected At the grouping of unfound devices, devices were grouped if the billing data contained records with another meter reading reason as well as records with the selected meter reading reason even though the grouping criterion "Devices for which reading data are existing" was selected. At the substitution method "Copy", temporary values were not interpreted as missing values even though status "I" was indicated at the option "Values with status combination". Now the selected status combination works correctly even if status "I" is contained. Now the generation of substitute values provides an additional option "Secondary values". If this option is inactive, the transformer constants of the load profile channels are considered. ID: 6003 30/5.10 Plausibility check according to G 685 standard Plausibility check consistency check according to G 685 The consistency check according to G685 calculated an incorrect relative deviation if the upper limit was 0. Now the consistency check according to G685 calculates a relative deviation of 100% if the upper limit is 0. The file "zfalogon.cmd" is updated correspondingly and the file "ZfaTmsrv.key" is replaced by the files "ZfaTmsrv.key_32" and "ZfaTmsrv.key_64". ID: 10644 The configuration file of the Webportal shall not be imported again at an update. Due to changes of the configuration file for the Webportal, the configuration file is saved in case of an update installation but it is not imported again since it would overwrite the new configuration file. For that reason the configuration wizard has to be executed at if the Webportal is started. ID: 11014 Terminal server installation with Repair causes problems The LIP path war not transferred correctly at an update installation. For that reason ZFA-F could not be started anymore. ID: 10105

Interfaces for MES-F 40/x Interface for mobile meter reading (MES-F) Missing settings at manual reading If only the device drivers "Manual reading" and "IEC1107 (without LP)" were activated, it was switched to limited license settings and only some fields were available. Now, the limited license settings are only applied if the license is expired. Processing number: 2015-000869 ID: 10522 SCS 29/0 Smart Communication Server (SCS) The settings from DEVICE_CAPABILITIES are not applied with communication profiles If a device that used DEVICE_CAPABILITIES in its options was read via a communication profile, the default settings were applied instead. The reason for this problem was the incorrect update of the file "settingscache.xml" at the SCS. The report could not be printed. The error message "...Database provider code: 208..." was supplied. Installation of database-oriented software dongle The description of how to activate a license for software-oriented software dongle was missing in the installation manual. Since the activation of the license is already described centrally, only a link to the description was added to the installation manual.
