Wikipedia defines streaming media as “media that is consumed (read, heard, viewed) while it is being delivered.”An important advantage of streaming is that the user can begin viewing a movie without having to wait for the entire file to download.Another advantage is that providers can prevent movies from being downloaded and shared illegally.
