Webster’s Dictionary says:
Bifid: An object or documentseparated into two equal
or almost equal parts or lobes.
Why the concept is important.
Major prophesies in the Bibleare Bifidic.
Bifidic books are repetitive in nature. Isaiah is not 14 differentsubjects, but seven subjects repeated.
BIFID IN ISAIAH **

PROVING DANIEL’S BIFID
Daniel’s prophecies were written in two languages.
Daniel 2:4 “Then spake the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack,‘O king, live for ever: tell thy servants the dream’”
Daniel 2:4 through 7:28 was written in High Syriac, the court language of the Babylonians.
Daniel 8 through 12 were written in Hebrew, the language of the Jews.
Why?
Daniel is in two languages because it has two audiences.
High SyriacChapters 2‐7
In a Gentile language because thosechapters are to and about the Gentileempires and their descendants whowould rule in Holy Land during “Thetime of the Gentiles.”
HebrewChapters 8‐12
Daniel 8‐12 are in Hebrew becausethey are to and about the future ofGod’s chosen people during the timetheir land was under Gentile controlduring “The time of the Gentiles.”
Both Daniel 27 and 812 are about a time of Gentile rule of the Holy Land so Daniel is bifidic and repetitive!
Luke 21:24 “And they (the Jews) shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shallbe led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden downof the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.” (June 6, 1967)

So When Are We Prophetically?
The time of Gentile control of Jerusalem ended on June 6th, 1967 so
“The time of the Gentiles” is over!
Daniel 12:4 “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal thebook, even to the time of the end: many shall run to and fro(through the book), and knowledge shall be increased.”
The only epochal “time” in Scripture following“The Time of the Gentiles”
is Daniel’s “Time of the End,” so we are inthe time of the end, right now!
But there’s another Hebrew poetic form employed in the prophetic books.
THE CHIASM
The chiasm is a poetic stepladder.
The chiasm is repetitive in nature. The concepts in the first two or three steps
are repeated in the remainingtwo or three steps.
EXAMPLE OF A TWO STEP CHIASM
Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD.

OTHER EXAMPLES OF CHIASMS
Psalm 68:1516
A The hill of God is as the hill of Bashan B an high hill as the hill of Bashan. B Why leap ye, ye high hills? A this is the hill which God desireth . . .
Mark 5:35 A Who had his dwelling among the tombs;
B and no man could bind him,C no, not with chains:C he had been bound with chains,B neither could any man tame him.A And always he was in the tombs...
If Daniel and Revelation are chiasmic, they will contain concurrent prophecies,
fulfilled at the SAME time!

Daniel Sealed Until the Time of the End
Daniel 12:4 “But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and sealthe book, even to the time of the end: many shall run to andfro, and knowledge shall be increased.”
That is a command, so Daniel had to do somethingto seal the book.
Daniel 12:9 “And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the wordsare closed up and sealed till the time of the end.”
By sovereign decree, the book of Daniel was sealed. He couldn’t modify what the Lord had inspired him to write,
so what did Daniel do to seal it?
Daniel’s Chronology is Important
(605BC) Dan 2:1 “In the second year of the reign of Nebuchad‐nezzar, Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams.”(Conservative date, liberal scholars claim 604BC)
(592BC) Dan 3:1 “Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image ofgold.” (No direct archeological evidence, GAD)
(558BC) Dan 4:137 Nebuchadnezzar goes insane. (A littlearcheological evidence for this event)
(536BC) pin date Dan 5:3031 “In that night was Belshazzar theking of the Chaldeans slain. And Darius the Median took thekingdom.” (Fall of the Babylonian Empire, conservative date)
(535BC) Dan 6:1 “It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom anhundred and twenty princes, which should be over the wholekingdom.”
DANIEL IS OUT OF CHRONOLOGICAL ORDER
(605BC) Dan 2:1 “In the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams.”
(592BC) Dan 3:1 “Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold.” (558BC) Dan 4:137 Nebuchadnezzar goes insane.1, 2

2 (549BC) Dan 8:1 “In the third year of the reign of king Belshazzar avision appeared unto me.”

BB Dan 3 and 6 Are about God's people in tribulation during the“time of the Gentiles.”
CC Dan 4 and 5 Are about judgment on the Gentile rulers at theend of the “time of the Gentiles.”
Central message of 1st chiasm: During the time of the Gentilesthere will be four major Gentile empires (and their descendants)who will rule the Holy Land. Also, during that time, God’s peoplewill suffer great persecution. But in the end, God will judge thenations that made His land a desolation and made captives ofHis people.

Is Revelation Bifidic and Chiasmic?
The Bible has only one Author! So did the Lord continue the Bifidic and Chiasmic
Pattern in Revelation?
Are the Seven Churches, the Seven Seals, the Seven Trumpets and the Two Witnessesrepetitive prophecies about the Christian Era?
We know the Seven Churches existed duringthe Apostle John’s lifetime, but what about
the seals and trumpets?
Revelation is Indeed Bifidic
Chapters 211
Revelation 5:7 “And he (Jesus) cameand took the book out of the righthand of him that sat upon thethrone.”
God the Father gives the “littlebook” of Revelation to Jesus, whothen reads about the Seven seals, theSeven Trumpets the 144 Thousand, and the Two Witnesses.
Chapters 1220
Revelation 10:1011 “And I (John) tookthe little book out of the angel's(Jesus’) hand, and ate it up; And hesaid unto me, thou must prophesyagain.” (Note the again!)
Jesus gives Revelation to John whothen reads about the woman with 12stars, the three beasts, the Holy Cityand Babylon the Great.
Like Daniel, Revelation is bifidic,so the twelve prophecies in Revelation are parallel andconcurrent, being fulfilled during the Christian era!

After the Seven Churches, a “Little Book”
Revelation 5:15 “And I saw in the right hand of him that saton the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals. And I saw a strong angelproclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open thebook, and to loose the seals thereof? And no man inheaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able toopen the book, neither to look thereon. And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read thebook, neither to look thereon (before the Cross). And oneof the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion ofthe tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed (sowhen did Jesus prevail?) to open the book, and to loose theseven seals thereof.”
Revelation 5:67 “And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of thethrone and of the four beasts, and in the midst of theelders, stood a Lamb (Greek: •kίνον, arnion, a defenselesslittle lambkin) as it had been slain (on the Cross), havingseven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits ofGod (Isaiah 11:13) sent forth into all the earth. And he(Jesus) came and took the book out of the right hand ofhim that sat upon the throne.”
Chapter 6:1 ‐ 8:1, the Seven Seals.
Remember from 1:19that Revelation is about events past,
present and future from the time of John.Verses 5:5‐7 place us at the time of the Crossso the Seven Seals are opened by the Lordright after He overcame on the Cross.
This “little book” is Revelation itself. Its 12 visions are God the Father’s repeated picturesof the major spiritual and physical events that will
take place during the Christian Era.
So are the Seven Trumpets a Repeat of the Seals?
Look at what Jesus said about His coming Crucifixion.
Luke 12:4950 “I came to send fire on the earth, andhow I wish it were already kindled! But I have abaptism to be baptized with, and how distressed I amtill it is accomplished!” (NKJV)
Figurative language: Jesus is referring to the fire on thebrazen altar that burned the sacrificial lamb (a type of Jesus)
and this “baptism” is His coming crucifixion.
God the Father now Reveals Whenthe Seven Trumpets Will Begin to Sound.
Revelation 8:26 “And I saw the seven angels which stood beforeGod; and to them were given seven trumpets. And another angelcame and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and therewas given unto him much incense, that he should offer it withthe prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was beforethe throne. And the smoke of the incense, which came with theprayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angelshand. And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of thealtar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, andthunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake. And the sevenangels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves tosound.”
By comparing Luke’s “I came to send fire on the earth” with quote above, we again find ourselves at the
time of the Cross, so Revelation’s trumpets start to soundat the beginning of the Christian era.
Revelation is also ChiasmicTHE 1ST CHIASM

Trials, plagues, famines, tribulation and wars will take place. But those who die inChrist, both Jew and Gentile, will be with the Lord. At the end, God will set up akingdom that will remain forever.
