ELITES SPECIFICATIONS
• Official meeting : Elite runners could be invited to different meetings (official presentation, press conference…) If you receivethis kind of invitation from the organisation, your presence is mandatory.
• Team Manager : Team managers have to get an accreditation before June 27th and they have to pick them at the Chamonix sport club (99 avenue de la plage). The accreditation allows them to access the « zone team » on the refreshment, and at the finish line (forbidden to general public) Accreditation links: https://forms.gle/ukSSomwQuH7rfU8R7
• Refreshments : Team managers are allowed to refresh their runners 20 meters before or 20 meters after the refreshmentspoints. The inside of the refreshment tent is not allowed. Out of this area, the refreshment is forbidden and could cause penalties.
• Mandatory materials: Mandatory materials is asked on Mont Blanc Marathon races to ensure the runners’ security, frequentcontrols to check if the runners have this material will occur. As an Elite you have to be exemplary on this point due to the strong communication about you.

July 1st to 4th 2021.

Informations
MANDATORY MATERIALSControls will be done during the race and on the finish line.
At the end of your race, at the finish line, you have to go to the control table to check your mandatory
material.
Mont Blanc 90km
• Cell phone. It has to work and have a serviceprovider adapted to France
• 1 liter water reserve minimum
• Raincoat with hood (Gore tex type) adapted toyour size.
• Mid layer, warm (with long sleeves) adapted toyour size.
• Head light or chest light with spare batteries
• Survival Blanket (140cm x 200cm)
• Whistle
• Cup, bowl and spoon
• Mask
Mont Blanc 23km and 42km
• Working cell phone
• Water reserve of 0,5 Liter minimum
• Rain coat (Gore-Tex type) with hood, adaptedto your size

Bib collection: Place du Mont-Blanc
Bibs will be excusively given to the runner in person andwith the presentation of an ID card with picture. Eachrunner has to show their race bag with all the mandatorymaterial of the race.
The bib won’t be given to the runner who doesn’t showthe mandatory material of their race.
Bib collection will be made by appointment only.
Please go back to your runner’s account to chooseyour collection time slot by clicking on ‘modify myregistration’.
This procedure is mandatory for all runners and has tobe made before June 27th at midnight.

IMAGE RIGHTS
• The ‘Club des Sports de Chamonix’ is the organiser of a sportive eventnamed « Marathon du Mont-Blanc » which takes place from July 1st to 4th, 2021.
• In application of dispositions of the L 333-1 article of sport code, the ‘Club des Sports de Chamonix’ is the exclusive owner of the exploitation right during this event.
• In this context, the ‘Club des Sports de Chamonix’ is the only holder of the image right of each runner in the event, who have renounced theirright by adhesion during the registration.
• Every communication about the event or the image utilisation of the event have to be done in the respect of the event name, deposit brand and with the official agreement of the organisation.
• In consequence, only the organisation is the holder of the right to use the runners image and can transfer that right.
• Without the registration of an exploitation license with the ‘Club des Sports de Chamonix’, shooting, recording and using of the race image is strictly forbidden.
• This means that the use of every image shot during the race and representing some runners is subject to a special licence delivered by the ‘Club des Sports de Chamonix’. If you want to purchase this licence, please contact [email protected]
MEDICAL CERTIFICATE
• In France the national rules done by the FFA (Athletics French
Federation) impose to the runners registered the presentation
of a medical certificate of no contra-indication to practice
running or athletics in competition. This piece has to date less
than one year before the date of the race. Or a 2020/2021 FFA
licence.
• This document has to be uploaded quickly, before June 27th
2021.
• NO MEDICAL CERTIFICATE WILL BE ACCEPTED AT THE
BIB COLLECTION.

ELITES SAS
An Elite SAS will be in place at the start of
the Mont-Blanc Marathon races.
Access to this SAS will be determined by
the ITRA score.
Your SAS and your bib number will be
available on your runner’s account the
week of the event.
DISQUALIFICATION & PENALTY
Please find the penlaties applied during the Mont-Blanc Marathonraces in case of no respect of the rules, and especially in case ofmissing materials.
Race controlers will be present on the course and the chiefs atdifferent control points and refreshment are able to enforce therules and to apply a penalty immediately.

Every brand or person who wants to shoot a video clip or a camera/drone reporting, or every other mean, on the 2021 Mont Blanc Marathon Edition has to ask to the organisation for a licence.Please send your request to : [email protected]
No public prize giving ceremony will be organised in the city center. Only
the first 3 men and first 3 women will be rewarded in the finish area of
each race.
For the 42km, the first 5 men and first 5 women will be rewarded in the
finish area
For the Duo Etoilé, the first 3 women teams, the first 3 men teams and the
first 3 mixed teams will be rewarded in the finish area
