Applied Biosystems Model 340A, Nucleic Acid Extractor provides purified DNA and RNA from many sources by automating the phenol extraction method. The system processes up to 8 samples simultaneously, minimizing shearing and nuclease contamination. Sample is placed in a reaction vessel, then digested, extracted and pre- cipitated without user intervention. Sample is also recoverable for dialysis in Dialysette’” cartridges.
