El imperfecto

•El imperfecto, like the preterite, is used to talk about the past. However, the imperfect and preterite are NOT interchangeable.

• In English, it means used to, would or just the simple past tense (-ed).

El verbo HABER

• In the present tense, we use the verb “hay” to mean “there is” or “there are.” • Hay muchos estudiantes en la clase.

• In the imperfect tense, we use “había” to mean “there was” or “there were.”• Había muchos estudiantes en la clase.

TRADUZCA…I used to play soccer everyday.
