for the AppalachianRegional Healthcare
(ARH) Home HealthAgency, but she retired
and moved away fromher hometown of WestLiberty.
When circumstancesout of her control forcedher back into the jobmarket, she found thateverything hadchanged.
Slow economic timesand the devastatingtornado that rippedthrough West Liberty inMarch 2012 left a lot ofpeople looking for work,and competition for jobsbecame fierce.

EKCEP also administersprograms that delivertiered levels ofservices–includingassistance with tuitionand books–to adults,dislocated workers, andeconomicallydisadvantaged youngpeople under theWorkforce InvestmentAct of 1998 (WIA).Delivered through theJobSight network, theseWIA programs use a widevariety of resources tohelp customers advancetheir careers.
