Sacraments Reconciliation Saturday’s 4PM or by appointment Baptism - Class required for parents and godparents held the last Friday of month. Call the parish office two weeks prior to schedule. Baptismal sacrament given the last Saturday of the month at 11AM or by arrangement.
Marriage - Please contact Fr. Basile Sede at least 6 months before the desired wedding date.
Anointing of the Sick - The primary effect of the Sacrament is a spiritual healing by which a person receives the Holy Spirit’s gift of peace and courage to deal with the difficulties of serious or prolonged illness. Please call the parish office to request anointing.
Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament -All are invited to Adoration the First Friday of the month, February 1st, after morning Mass, until 12 noon to spend private quality time in the presence of Christ.

Cameroon Situation Fr. Basile asks us to continue to pray for peace and justice in Cameroon as the trial of the separatist leader Julius Sisiku Ayuk Tabe and 9 co-defendants begins. He is charged with “terrorism and secession over the unrest that has claimed hundreds of lives”. More than 300,000 people have fled the violence and daily skirmishes are still being reported. ~ News24.com/Africa/news Please also pray for those killed in the conflict and their families.

PARISH NEWS Reflection -Called to Serve For many weeks now, we have been celebrating the appearance of the divine presence in human form. As a child, he came to Mary and Joseph, was seen by the shepherds, and then by some wandering magi from the East. Today we celebrate another showing, later in time, to a group gathered at the Jordan River. John hesitated to baptize Jesus, whom he recognized as “one mightier than I.” But he did as Jesus asked, and the “Holy Spirit descended” and heaven’s voice spoke to Jesus, “You are my beloved Son.” Jesus was beginning his public life of teaching and service. Soon he would start calling others to join him. Peter was one of the first to be called by Jesus. In today’s second reading, he announces the heart of the message, “peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.” Peter was called, and you and I are called to spread that message and to serve God’s word. &RS\ULJKW���-��6��3DOXFK�&R�

O Good Shepherd, You never cease to seek out the lost, to call home the stray, comfort the frightened, and to bind the wounded. I ask you to bring all our fallen away brothers and sisters back to the practice of the Faith, and to remove all obstacles that prevent them from receiving your abundant mercy, which flows sacramentally through the heart of the Church. Make Your Power known to them today in every situation. Through the intercession of Mary, Mother of God, their Guardian Angels, their Patron Saints and the every-prayerful St. Monica, may you pardon their sins and unshackle them from whatever hinders their freedom to come Home.
