Field Experience Assignment(s):

Guided Observations of Classroom Management in the field: Tohelpteachercandidatesfocusonseeingstrategiesandissuesthatwehavereadaboutanddiscussedandtosupporttheirreflectionsandinterviewassignments,theywillmakefocusedobservationsandrecordtheseduringtheweeksthattheyareintheirfieldplacement.Teachercandidateswillconductateacherinterviewandinterviewstudentsaswell.Theywillthenberequiredtoanalyzealloftheirobservationsandinterviewsthroughthelensofourclassroomreadingsanddiscussions.Studentsinsection10willhaveachoiceaspartoftheirfinalprojectforthecourse.OnechoicewouldinvolvevideoingoneofthelessonsfromEDUC310,335,341,or346andanalyzingclassroommanagementdecisionsandpracticesinthevideo.
