The success of the World Federation of Orthodontists (WFO) is a testament to the value of developing a strong organization in every country with its own meet- ings as well as a plan for board certification. Our very own Journal relies heavily on support from the interna- tional community to broaden the scientific base of knowledge. As the free world shares the common expe- rience of organization and purpose, we hope that we won’t need another earthquake or terrorist act to bring us together.
