1. I’m happy and grateful to share some of my views in this edition of Technodaya. Firstly, I would like to express thanks to all my teachers and friends at NIT Arunachal Pradesh; they have a significant role in my career growth. I got enrolled in NIT Arunachal Pradesh in the year 2015 for the M.Tech. degree course. I often recollect the very first day when I arrived in the “Land of the Rising Sun.” No words to portray the attractiveness of those gigantic mountains, untamed rivers, and small but spectacular waterfalls. Especially in Delhi, I miss the unpolluted refreshing air, as you all must be aware of the unhealthy atmospheric condition in Delhi. In my opinion, the climatic conditions and the surrounding environment in AP are unparalleled natural benefits that can eventually nurture a student’s life positively. Though the exposure at NITAP may be less when compared to other centrally funded technical institutions situated in the mainland of India. As mentioned earlier, there are specific experiences a student can acquire. I’m continually noticing the recent activities by NITAP. I can sense that; these changes are the small steps towards a giant leap in overall progress.

2. I’m Abdul Shekkeer K M. I did my M.S. in Mathematical Physics (2016-18) from NIT Arunachal Pradesh. At present, I’m a PhD research scholar at Universiti Sains Malaysia. Ever since I joined NITAP I realised the news and information about the institute are not reaching the appropriate audience. My friend and classmate Ravisankar Varma and I decided to start Facebook Page which aims to update all the latest notifications about the institute and we believe by doing so we can reach to more people. I think it helps to improve the status of the institute. It’s my commitment to the institute as alumni of NITAP. I believe that serving our very institute in whatever way we can be in our priority instead of defaming the same. I’m very much indebted to the teachers at this institute for changing my attitude towards the research career. Earlier, PhD was never in my dream but now I am very much interested in research and would like to pursue a scientific career. The right atmosphere in the institute only changed me. So helping other people to know about the institute always gives me chill and I am happily doing so far.
