An international journal concerned with the continuity of fetal and postnatal life AIMS AND SCOPE Early Human Development is a peer-reviewed interdisciplinary journal which provides a forum where, original research and review papers concerned with early human growth and development are gathered. The emphasis is on the contin- uum of fetal life, the problems of the perinatal period and those aspects of postnatal growth which are influenced by early events; and on the safe-guarding of the quality of human survival. The Journal will be relevance to clinicians and researchers concerned with the continuity of fetal and postnatal life. Article submissions will be considered for publication in the following fields: obstetrics; reproduction and fertility; fetal medicine and surgery; perinatology; paedriatic growth and development; teratology; developmental neurology; and psychology. Other fields or studies on other species will also be considered, if they are related to early human development. Early Human Development is abstracted and indexed by: Chemical Abstracts, Current Contents/Clinical Medicine, Current Contents/Life Sciences, EMBASE, Elsevier BIOBASE and PubMed/Medline/Index Medicus/Scopus.
