Madonna Palladino has been attending our fitness classes for more than ten years, and Sydney Holly’s yoga class for seven years. Why does she choose Edina Community Ed? “I come because I can ride my bike here. I also come because I enjoy attending classes with my daughter, now 20. So many fitness places are all young people. Where else but Community Ed would you get this great mix of people?”

On the CoverNotice anything different about our Fall 2012 catalog? It’s filled with real people, real photos, real stories. That’s Edina Community Ed, after all. We’re all about living and learning right here in our own back yard. We’re proud to be a part of both the Edina Public Schools and our wider community—a place where you can connect with your neighbors and friends, and meet new ones! We’re excited about the range of lifelong learning opportunities we have to offer. Take some time to browse through this catalog. Find your next opportunity to stay fit, update your skills, or join a conversation. Stay young! Learn something new, stay engaged, and do your part to make our community a little bit stronger. Don’t see the class you’d really like to take? Why don’t you propose teaching your own class? I love new ideas, and I’d love to hear from you. Let’s chat! Marsha [email protected]

formed in this class are a real part of its appeal. So are the fabulous instructor, the beautiful studio, and the health benefits: “Yoga is fantastic for arthritis. I have found the combined focus on body, mind and spirit quite fruitful,” he says. —Larry Swandby, yoga participant
