1. Entries for the above examinations will be received at the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate (MES), Réduit between 09:00 and 14:00 on Monday 12, Tuesday 13 and Wednesday 14 October 2020.

2. The fees payable are as follows:

6 International Advanced Level (IAL) Unit Fee (Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics & Physics) 2,375.00

7 Mathematics (Core Unit) Unit Fee 3,824.00

3. Payment of fees should be made either in cash or by Debit/Credit Card or by means of an Office Cheque issued by a bank and drawn to the order of the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate.If payment is made in cash, kindly tender the exact amount to the cashier.

4. Prospective candidates should call in person at the Mauritius Examinations Syndicate to fill in the Entry Form and pay the appropriate fees. Entry Forms forwarded by post will not be considered.

5. Candidates aged 18 or above should submit their National Identity Card and original Birth Certificate. Those under 18 should submit their original Birth Certificate and

Either (a) The MES Candidate’s Identity or the NTA Student Identity Card together with one recent passport-size photograph (4 ½ cm x 5 cm) bearing their name and signature

Or (b) Two recent passport-size photographs bearing their name and signature and countersigned by a person who has known them personally for at least two years and who is either Member of the National Assembly, Medical Practitioner, Barrister-at-law, Attorney-at-Law, Notary Public, Bank Manager, Principal of a recognised Educational Institution, Police Officer not below the rank of Assistant Superintendent or Officer in the Public Service or Parastatal Bodies not below the rank of Administrative Officer/Assistant Secretary.

The person countersigning the photographs should give his/her own particulars as follows:Name, Designation, Signature on the verso of photographs.

6. Candidates are strongly advised to be very careful while filling in their Entry Forms as any amendment

requested will entail an additional administrative fee.

7. Candidates are hereby informed that no arrangements will be made in case there is a timetable clash with other examining bodies.

8. Very Important Notice: The examinations will start on Thursday 07 January 2021. Timetables for candidates will be despatched by email. Those who have not received their timetable by Monday 21 December 2020 are requested to call at the Customer Care Unit, MES Exams Centre, Mauritius Examinations Syndicate, Réduit.
