Basic and advanced search optionsBASIC SEARCHEnter a term that you are searching for.Boolean operators (AND, OR, NOT) can be used to refinesearches. Searches can also be limited using criteria such aspublications with full-text availability, peer-reviewed journalsor by publication date.
ADVANCED SEARCHSpecify the text that you are searching for and in which field (e.g.title, author, abstract, subject keywords, company name, etc.).As with basic search, Boolean operators and search restrictionscan be used.

If you chose to perform your search with the‘Visual Search’ option, you can then searchAcademic Source Complete and have your resultspresented in an interactive, visual map.
You can change the style of the result list at anytime by selecting either block style or columnstyle from the ‘display style’ menu.

Use the Subject Terms list
Academic Search Complete Subject Terms gives you a list of authority terms, created and used specifically in the database. This meansthat if you use these exact terms the relevancy of your results could be highly increased.

Use the buttons at the top right corner of the screen to get more tips on EBSCO Academic Source Complete (access EBSCO online tutorials, create your own folder to save your searches and articles, change the display language, use the ‘Text-To-Speech’ option, etc.
Browse among cited references
If you click the Cited References tab (1) you can search for references cited in articles.You can also use the Cited References (2) hyperlink on a result, and the Cited References Screen (3) then gives you a list of all thearticles that cited your original article.
