James Yorkston emerged from The Fence Collective. Today, eight albums, dozens of EPs,compilations, 7 singles, an exceptionally fine book, dozens of tours and performances later,he has joined forces with The Pictish Trail and Withered Hand for this special performance.
Johnny Lynch, aka The Pictish Trail, has extraordinary vocals which reveal hidden depths thatcan subdue the most rowdy of audiences into a blissfully hypnotised silence. He is also a self-deprecating hairy hobo whose on-stage banter could give many comedians a run for their money.
Withered Hand is Edinburgh-based singer-songwriter Dan Willson, With a wayward tenor andunaffected on-stage charm he has come to be a songwriter and lyricist of rare wit and remarkablehonesty, being described by Del Amitris Justin Currie as a Godlike Genius.

Blazin' Fiddles is simply one of the most exciting
bands in the country, showcasing the particular
styles and voices of the Highlands and Islands'
fiddle and much more. A Blazers performance is
a rare opportunity to hear the individual style of
each fiddler Bruce MacGregor, Jenna Reid,
Rua Macmillan and Kristan Harvey in a blend of
ensemble and solo sets.
Fiddles and bows come alight atop guitar and
piano from Anna Massie and Angus Lyon.
Expect a huge amount of drive and attack with
controlled sensitivity as they reach into the
heart of the music.
