Mission The mission of East Naples Middle School, with the support of parents and community, is to provide a secure, positive environment that inspires all students and staff to reach their greatest potential.

As the fun of summertime quickly approaches it is important that both parents and students keep something in mind. Sooner than you think it will be time to get ready to return to school. Summer break is an important opportunity for students to recharge their batteries and have new experiences. While school provides structure and routine, both of which help young adults, summertime allows students the opportunity to make some choices on their own. 2From the Desk of the Dean of Students

Greetings all!! As we round out the school year and start preparing for next year, I want to share some information for you about dress code in 2014-2015. The revised dress code is as follows:• SHIRTS: Shirts may be any solid color polo type shirt• BOTTOMS: Navy blue, black or khaki pants or walking shorts• OUTER WEAR: Solid colors of blue, green, yellow, white, black, or grey sweatshirts or sweaters. If it has a hood, it

must have a zipper.

We realize that this is a shift and wanted all Gators to be informed. We want to thank the students, faculty, staff, and parental for their input for these changes. We have tried to make our dress code align with other schools while also meeting the needs of our Gators. Have a wonderful summer and please make sure to use your free time to read a book!

Hundreds of Reading Counts tests were taken during the school year. The Sunshine State Young Readers Award program (SSYRA) just released the titles for the 2014-2015 school year. These titles would be wonderful books for your student to read during the summer.
