The 2015 East Coast Men’s Bible Conference will be the fourteenth time we have gathered together at the Englewood Baptist Church in Rocky Mount, NC, and seen the power of God change lives. Through the years we have had some of America’s greatest preachers and singers come to share with us. This coming conference is no exception. Our preachers will be Jerry Vines, Steve Gaines and Greg Mathis. Our singing guests will be Greater Vision consisting of Gerald Wolfe, Rodney Griffin and Chris Allman. They have been one of the premier Gospel groups in America for many years. Don’t miss it!

DR. BOB PITMAN DR. JERRY VINESDr. Jerry Vines has been a Baptist pastor/preacher for over 50 years. His ministry has taken him from country and neighborhood churches in Georgia to Alabama and Florida. Dr. Vines accepted the call to be pastor at First Baptist Church, Jacksonville, Florida, in July 1982 and retired from the pastorate in February of 2006. He was elected President of the Alabama Pastors’ Conference in 1976, President of the Southern Baptist Pastors’ Conference for 1976 -1977. He also served two terms as President of the Southern Baptist Convention from 1988 - 1989. Today, he is busier than ever preaching in conferences.

DR. STEVE GAINESDr. Steve Gaines had the awesome assignment from God to follow Dr. Adrian Rogers and officially became the seventh Pastor of Bellevue Baptist Church August 1, 2005 and preached his first sermon as Pastor September 11, 2005. He came to Bellevue from being Pastor at First Baptist Church, Gardendale, Alabama, 1991-2005, a church which led the Alabama Baptist Convention in baptisms each year. He has served as President of Alabama Convention as well as President of SBC Pastor’s Conference.

All three preachers at this year’s conference are well known throughout the Southern Baptist Convention. Dr. Jerry Vines is not only an excellent expositor of the Word of God but he has written books that seminaries still use to train preachers. Dr. Steve Gaines is pastor of one of the greatest churches in America and is used of God as a preacher of His Word. From the Western part of our State is one of North Carolina’s most well known and respected preachers, Dr. Greg Mathis.

Since organizing in 1990, Greater Vision has been inspiring audiences with their rich vocal blend and their effective ability to communicate the message of the gospel. DR. GREG MATHISDr. Greg Mathis has been pastor of the exciting Mud Creek Baptist Church in Hendersonville, NC for over 30 years. He has been recognized both locally and nationally for his excellent service in ministry. Pastor Mathis has served as Professor of Evangelism at Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute for 30 years. Pastor Greg Mathis is known for his leadership in our state convention. Pastor Mathis served two terms as President of the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. In addition, he served as President of the NC Baptist Pastors Conference.
