MATHEMATICS IS NOT A DIFFICULT SUBJECT.

We make the subject difficult becauseWe don’t listen to teacher attentively. We do not practise at home the same day whatever is taught in the class. We do not do homework by ourselves. We do not understand the method but are in a hurry to finish the home task by hook or crook. We consider the topic as difficult on the advice of our friend. So we must try to change our attitude towards Mathematic as an easiest subject. And it is true.

THANK YOU T.C.V.

In this earth, there are many schools. In my point of view, the best school is the one who cares for those children who don’t have family and the one who gave home to poor children. One such school is TCV or Tibetan Children’s Vil-lage. It is the school who give admission to those poor children and make them educated. This school make a bright future for thousands of children. The school has the best facility and the best teachers. This school is funded by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and we must respect this school. The school has got a motto that “OTHERS BEFORE SELF”. The school advise the student on that attitude. All the students tried their best to take decision in positive thinking. The school always show right path for the student and that school is the best in the world. Especially the T.C.V Ladakh they provide home not only for the Tibetan children but also for the many needy Ladakhi children. This is all because of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE

Once there was a girl. She was born in middle class family with her left part of the body para-lysed. One of the doctor said that she couldn’t be cured but her mother believed that soon she will be cured. Twice a year, they two went to nearby hospital for check up. They have a hope and believe to get cured from disease. Reaching the age of 12 years, she still didn’t lose hope and had belief that she will be normal like others. Day by day she is improving. She walk bit but need of stuff to support. Still belief and faith in her mind remains. A year later, she became normal like others. She can jump, she can play, and she can run and so on. At the age of 25, she won two silver medals in Olympic game. But next time, she won three medals and she becomes the fastest woman in the world.Remember the old saying,’ nothing is impossible’.One must need to know that,’ everything is possible’.

LEARN WITH UNDERSTANDING

Most of the students considered Maths as a difficult subject among all the subjects. Maths indeed is little bit tough but if we try to understand it, it is easy. There is no problem with Maths subject. The main problem is with our attitude.Second, we are always busy in filling up the pages of the notebook and hardly cared about the

basic understanding of the subjects. We used to copy all the exercise from others. So we must give up this bad habit of copying and must try to learn with understanding.

PROUD TO BE TIBETAN

I am proud to be Tibetan because Tibetans are very good and kind people. Chinese govern-ment is our enemy but Chinese people are not our enemy. I am proud to be Tibetan because our religious head is His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama and our country prime minister is Dr Lobsang Singey. Our religion is Buddhism. I am proud to be Tibetan because his holiness the Dalai Lama said that we will go back to our country soon with peaceful talk with china. Tibetan people have great patience and hardworking. We are the luckiest refugee in the whole world.

KARMA

On this unique planet or mother Earth, there are many living organism. All the living things are totally dependent on one word that is KARMA. Our life is a wonderful journey that starts from a baby to graveyard. Our life is like a lightening. It ’s not permanent. Life is so precious. If you do good things in present life, you will be benefitted in next life. If your karma is not good,

join new school. But one thing is for sure, we have to leave this school. We must have some feelings of leaving such a grateful school. So, 6 months……..make the most of it and leave the school with beautiful memories.

HE LEFT US ALONE.

When I was kid, I always wonder what word dead means. But during winter vacation, this happened to me. A cruel wind blow towards us and took away my grandfather from us. We cried and shout back but that cruel wind didn’t understood our feelings. When he was taking his last breath, I was there, tear rolling down my cheeks and within a minute, he left us with-out thinking of us. At that time I didn’t believe it but soon I realised that he had gone away. I still remember his smiley face, the face which has a strong determination to do something. My grandfather was a great lover of our village. He can do anything for his our village. So today taking this opportunity, I want to say that, Dear grandpa, I don’t know where you are but I will pray to god that you will born in a place where you will get all the happiness of the world. Love you so much! Miss you a lot!

AN AWESOME ADVENTURE.

The miles away from Ladakh, you might have seen my beautiful village. I am a Muslim Lada-khi boy from Turtuk (Nubra village). I joined T.C.V school in 2005 when I was five because of His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama. When I joined this school for the first time, tears comes in my eyes. This is because it hurts me to depart from family, friends and my beautiful village. But later this school became a second home for me and I am very happy to be T.C.V’s students.Lastly I would like to thank Holiness the Dalai Lama and all the kind, supportive teachers and

Amala (Matrons) who cares me like their own child and make my dreams come true. Thank you all so much.

MY HOLIDAY EXPERIENCE

Every year during holiday, I used to travel around India. During that time, I used to see lots of children who never get a chance to go to school. I am feeling guilty of myself because I am studying in such a good school. I don’t even think how much hard work my parent does just for my education. If I have a magic power in my hand, then I will give every child a chance to study. But it ’s impossible. If we don’t utilise this golden opportunity to study in such a good school, then you are very foolish person. It doesn’t mean you are very clever. So I think if we got chance to go to school, then we should make best use of it.

LADAKH

Ladakh is a beautiful place because many people lives in Ladakh and there are many market in Ladakh. Ladakhi people are very nice and kind people. Mountains are covered by snow. In winter time, there are snowfalls in Ladakh. People are very religious minded. There are many religions in Ladakh such as Muslim, Hindu, Christian and Buddhist. There are many trees and many beautiful wild animals. So I love my Ladakh.

MY TIBET

Tibet is my country. It is located on the top of the world. It is surrounded by Snow Mountains and filled with green meadows. Our national animal is Panda. There are many holy mountains and monasteries. The capital city of Tibet is Lhasa. Tibetan people are kind and honest. In Tibet, there are many types of rivers. Most of the river in India comes from my country Tibet. I love my country a lot.

I ALWAYS LOVE MY MOM AND DAD

The person I admire the most is my mom and dad because when I was small, my mom and dad looked after me and always takes care of me. My mom and dad always asked me to do well in studies and be a good girl. My mom and dad are most precious in the world. He or she always gives me what I want. They always feel happy about me. They are also my teacher because they guide me. They always pray for me. I am very lucky because I have a mom like her and dad like him. They also teach a lot about good habit. I will pray to god that my mom and dad will live happy, healthy and long life. I am lucky because some children do not have mom and dad. I will never forget their kindness and care. I always love my mom and dad.

then you will face many obstacles. Some people didn’t know how precious human life is. They smoke and drink to get pleasure for a short time. But in a real sense, they are spoiling their life. For example, if a man loves to hunt animals in this life, then this man may born as animal in next life and may be hunted by other person. So remember happiness of life depends on karma. If you are happy in present life, it ’s all because of your kind deeds in previous life.If you want to be happy in next life, be kind and compassionate in present life.

MAGIC OF MACHINE

In 21st century, machine is very important I our life. If we have so many works to do in a limited time, like, if we have to invite our friend to a party. Long ago, we used a letter to invite and sent it through postman. But now we use mobile to invite our friends through message or phone call in few seconds. It saves our time. Mobile is also an important technology. If we were bored, we can play with our mobiles. We can find the meaning of difficult word in mobile. We can read new information from mobile.

HOW TO BECOME SUCCESS

Some want it to happen. Some wish to happen. It ’s a matter of time. Study hard and you will get what you want. If people think about the other and follow the three P, you will be successful.First P means patience or tolerance.Second P means determination.Third P means perspiration. If you follow this, then you will become a good leader or successful man. So, please think.

Parents

In most, there are many parents in our life. I have two parents they care me very much. They always advise me to do good things that are needed to me and to my twin brother. They give me what I want to play and foods. Parents are our first teacher that taught many things. Parent point directly our mistakes. We have born in moth-er’s womb. It is our duty to help our parents. We always remind the kindness of our parent’s. We get parents once in a life. We must be obedient to our parents and support our parents, espe-cially when they are in problem. Nothing is more precious than our parents. I love my parents very much. So, I request all my fellow children remember the gratefulness of parents and help your parents when in needs.

THANK YOU OUR T.C.V TEACHERS.

The most fortunate people on this planet are teachers. Our teacher is like a mirror which shows us our appearance. They are like night stars which show us path in the darkest night. They are true guide and friend of student. They are the most important people in students’ life. Without them, our mind can’t grow like our body. Especially the T.C.V teachers unlike normal teachers they work like machine from dawn to dusk. They are everything. They do a lot of extra work for T.C.V students. They are full of workloads but they smile and keep doing. They even watch whether we eat properly or not during lunch and break time like our own parent. They are tired but they never rest. We T.C.V student are very lucky to be around supportive teachers from Infant to senior section. They receive less salary as compare with many private schools in Ladakh but they don’t care and work tirelessly. Their duty starts with our morning prayer at 7o’clock in the morning and evening they teach the hostel students without any fees almost always. They are unlike other school’s teacher. Our TCV teach-ers are great and sincere. We are always thankful of our school’s teachers. They are like angels for us. We are always proud of our sincere teachers and staffs. They are like hormones which help us to grow. Without them, we would not be able to reach our dreams. They are the greatest person in our life. They are also our true parents. Therefore I, Pema, would like to say, ‘thank you to our dearest teacher from infant to senior. I will pray for your healthy life and remember you all. Once again I would like to say THANK YOU from deep of my heart’.

A WONDERFUL BIRTHDAY

Everybody likes to celebrate their own birthday. But I have never wished to celebrate my birthday. Anyhow, me and my friends decided to celebrate the birthday of one of my best friends Padma Norzin. So in the evening of that day, we all the friends decorated the room with flowers, balloons and so many cute dolls. The room became very beautiful and inviting. But Padma was confused to choose the dress for her birthday party. She tried different types of frocks and jeans. At last she decided to wear a beautiful dress she had received from her uncle in Delhi. She looked beautiful that evening. After few minutes, the guest started coming. They all wished Padma Norzin a very happy birthday. Then we blew twelve candles on the chocolate charming cake. Everybody clapped loudly and sang out in chorus “Happy Birthday to you”. Then we all had the most delicious cake of our life.

MY AIM

There are so many people with their big aims. I am also one of them and my aim is to become a scientist. I know my classmates laugh when I say that, but one day I will surely become a scientist. So let ’s talk about my aim. I have chosen it from the moment I have watched the movie “The childhood of Michael Faraday”. That movie had really inspired me to choose the “Scientist” as my biggest aim of my life. I know it is not easy to achieve such a big aim. So to get succeed in achieving it, I must really work-hard and I need to study very hard. Especially I have to put more effort in studying science. And one day, when I become a successful scientist, I would spend my time and effort in devel-

oping our mother earth, so that the aliens from other planet will call earth a very unique planet. And another reason for choosing the scientist as my aim is that, these days, our country is under the control of Chinese. Our Tibet needs so many famous people for its development and Popu-larity so that we Tibetan can get our country back from those red Chinese.

MY DREAM

We do see so many dreams each night when we sleep. So have I .But one night I had the most wonderful dream of my life. I was a beautiful fairy and I was in a fairyland. Fairy Lina was my friend. We were playing and enjoying every moment together. But one day I found that my cute friend Lina was nowhere to be seen. I searched for her everywhere. At last I heard that my friend was caught by a wicked witch. As I already knew that the wicked witch was terribly afraid of water. I took a bucket full of water and went to her home. I knocked the door. When she opened the door, I put the water on her face. She got afraid and ran away. I took my friend to our own land. I know it was just a dream. But I like to think about it again and again.

EDUCATION

Education is very important and never ends. It is the basic things of our life. Education is just like diamond and also like water. It never found easily like diamond and we never live without water. In this century most of the people have educational opportunity and be educated people. An educated person must have good manner, one who has good education but no manner he could face problem of not getting jobs and no recognition in society. People will respect the man who has education with good manner. His Holiness the Dalai Lama always says, “Do study hard and have a good manner.” If education is not important for us, then I think, the Dalai Lama will never tell us to study hard. Education is not writing and reading only. Education is life and life is education.

Parent’s day

Today sky is full of blue and also it is sky which shows happiness. And today is a parent’s day. In this world, there are so many living beings. But they depend on their parents who are always smiling. If there is no parent there will be none of the kind. From parents we are given birth. When we are small which means we can’t talk and we can’t eat and we can’t go. But it is the mother who teaches us all. When we were a baby, she gives us all our needs. She always keeps on smiling and caring her child. She gives us the benefit that we got from her. Parent is always thinking of their children. They usually coordinate between their children and the teacher. They are one who cares. Their kindnesses are also unforgettable forever. I love my Parent from the inner most core of my heart. Thank you my parent.

AN EXPERIENCE TO SHARE.

When, I was 10 yrs old. I was very naughty boy. I never stayed indoors of my home and roaming here and there. But one day I thought that I should go to get some fresh air at the bank of Indus river, suddenly I fell down into the river and I was sinking down. And I thought that I would die After a few second all of sudden I saw a bunch of trees branch and I used it to safe myself. From that day, I refused to go along the side of river in any situation.

ORIENTATION PROGRAM -2014

There is a well known saying “that the half work is done if we make a good start of the work”. So is the orientation programme. How we can plan and prepare our work!! For the whole year largely depends on the success and effectiveness of orientation programme. This is the best time in the year to orient our staff members to get prepared in advance to achieve the set goals and make constructive differences in the learning outcome. Usually we had two earmarked days for the orientation programme to discuss and plan on holistic development of the children. But this year we had only day the for orientation programme due to paucity of the time. Never the less, the day had been utilized to explore the best possible means to achieve the excellence in the developmental process. At the outset the school director had given the introductory and welcome speech that touched

specifically on the T.C.V’s policy on child caring and corporal punishment. He stressed and urged all concerned to build confidence and trust in institution’s policy. The director’s speech was followed by the school principal who briefly referred on EDCM’s

resolution and emphasized to focus on children’s all round development programmes and urged all staff to keep child in the center of your work.
