Click on a template theme to view it.

The “Design” tab lets you create different background styles for your presentation.

You will see pre-made themes available for you.

Clicking on a theme will allow you to automatically preview it.

Choose themes appropriate for your presentation.

Try clicking now on a theme.

After you have chosen a template you will see text boxes which are already added in for you to place information. These are called template text boxes.

You might choose to use the template text boxes or you might want to add your own.

To add your own text box click on the “Insert” tab

You will then see the insert navigation box.

To add text click on “Text Box,” draw the text box on your screen, and type.Next

Graphics Graphics can be added to your presentation for clarification and enhancement. 3 ways to add graphics are • pictures• shapes • clip art.

To add graphics first click on the “Insert” tab.

Under the “Insert” tab you will see a box called “Illustrations.”

From here you can choose to add pictures, clip art or shapes.

• PicturesTo insert a picture click on the “Picture” icon and browse to any selected picture on your computer. Double-click on the picture and it will insert into your document.

• ShapesTo insert a shape click on the “Shapes” icon. A drop-down box will appear letting you select a shape. Then, using your cursor, draw the desired shape onto your screen.

• Clip ArtTo insert clip art click on the “Clip Art” icon and look to the right of your screen. Put in a search term and click Go. When you find a picture you like simply double-click it and it will appear in your presentation.
