Camfil Ireland have a dedicated Air Pollution Control

(APC) department to help service all the needs of our

customers in regards to Dust Collection. Camfil Ireland

get involved from the design to the commissioning

and beyond for the dust collection system .

With a manufacturing and sales office in Dublin and

further sales offices in Cork and Belfast, Camfil have a

nationwide network that is able to respond to

customer queries efficiently and effectively.

This brochure outlines the services that Camfil offer

from the design consultation of Dust Collection

projects all the way through to the Installation,

servicing and maintenance of the Dust Collector.

Not only do Camfil Ireland offer maintenance and

service packages for the Camfil Gold Series Dust

Collector Units but we also offer service and

maintenance packages for NON-CAMFIL DUST

COLLECTORS.

Camfil Ireland have a thorough knowledge of Dust

collector applications for many different Industries.

Working with Dust Collector applications for

Pharmaceutical, Food and Beverage, Manufacturing

and laser cutting, Camfil have the knowledge to help

your dust collector maintain and improve its

performance.

Camfil products can often improve the performance

of a Non–Camfil Dust collector. Through our

innovative product design and development, Camfil

products can often fit seamlessly into Non Camfil

Dust Collectors, improving the performance

immediately.

DESIGN CONSULTATION

As part of Camfils Dust Collection service we offer

Dust Collection system design consultation. In this

consultation we work closely with different

consultant engineers in helping to design the most

optimised Dust Collection solution for your premises.

Through this design consultation Camfil go through a

thorough process to make sure that the Dust

Collection system specified will achieve the targets

set out by the customer.

1) Building/area Survey

In order to understand the full needs of the

customer, Camfil need to understand the problems

that are occurring. A member of the Camfil APC (air

pollution control) team will visit our customer

premises and speak to them about the problems that

they may be having.

2) Dust Analysis

In every dust collection system it is important to

know what type of dust/fumes are being extracted

from the premises. This is important in order to

establish the type of Dust Collection Unit is needed

as well as what safety precautions are needed.

As part of the Camfil worldwide group, Camfil Ireland

have the disposal of top of the range testing facilities

in order to better understand what is needed from

your Dust Collection Unit.

3) System Specification

After understanding the needs of the customer and

the requirements needed to help resolve the problems

that are occurring, Camfil can then work closely with

either the customer or the consultant engineers in

specifying the type of Dust collection unit that is

needed to fulfil the tasks that have been set by the

client.

With the dust analysis done Camfil can recommend

the type of safety equipment needed to ensure that

the system is fully compliant with safety regulations to

ensure that employees health and safety is protected

to the required levels.

CAMFIL GOLD SERIES UNITS

After the design has been approved customers can then

proceed to the next stage of purchasing the Gold Series

Dust Collector.

At Camfil we do not see this as our job as being

complete. At Camfil we offer a complete turnkey

package in which we can install and commission your

Dust Collection Unit.

Install and Commission

Camfils site service team is fully trained to ensure that

your new Gold Series Dust Collector is installed and

commissioned to the standard that has long been

associated with Camfils installation team.

Our team works closely with Mechanical Contractors to

ensure that your new Dust Collector works as efficiently

and as effectively as the guarantee that Camfil Gold

Series Dust Collectors come with.

When the Dust Collector is installed and ready to start

extracting dust and fumes from your factory, Camfil

Ireland will then commission the equipment with your

factory ready to feel the effects of a cleaner and

healthier working environment.

SERVICE AND MAINTENACE AGREEMENT

Camfil offer a range of different service and

maintenance packages. Depending on our customer

requirements we offer a range of different services and

checks to help make sure the Dust Collector solution is

optimized.

Camfil Service and Maintenance Agreement has

different options including the following:

1) Preventative maintenance

This includes up to four scheduled visits per year to

check that the Dust Collector is working to its optimal

level. Different levels of preventative maintenance can

be covered for different customer needs.

2) Emergency call out service

This is a nationwide emergency call out facility. If a fault

is noted in your system you can avail of a emergency

call out facility to ensure that your system is fixed and

up and running in as quick a time as possible. This is to

help ensure that loss of productivity is minimized.

3) Filter Change outs

Filter change outs are scheduled for as often as

required by both the customer and the Dust Collector.

Often with the Gold Series Dust Collector this is once

per year but this is variable depending on Dust levels/

makeup.

4) General Maintenance

At the back of this brochure lists a 58 point check list

which is done for all our basic Service and Maintenance

agreement. These Checks are done on every scheduled

visit.

Non-Camfil Gold Series Units

As well as being able to service and maintain our own

Dust Collector Units, Camfil site service staff also have

vast experience working on “Non-Camfil Gold Series”

Dust Collection Units.

SYSTEM SURVEY AND UPGRADES

When working with Non-Camfil Dust collectors the first

thing Camfil have to do is to take a full survey of the

system in question. In doing this, Camfil will look at the

overall system and evaluate how efficiently the system

is working.

Often during these system surveys Camfil can often

recommend systems upgrades in order to help your

current dust collector be come more efficient and ef-

fective.

Camfil offer many different accessories that can

upgrade your current system.

Total Cost of ownership (TCO) Analysis

Through the use of Camfils low energy Hemi-Pleat

Cartridge Filters, Non-Camfil Dust Collection Units have

been able to reduce their Total Cost of Ownership.

In regards to the Total Cost of Ownership Camfil take

into account the full cost of the cartridges in the Dust

Collection system. This analysis takes into account:

1) The energy consumption

2) The Cost of Consumables (filter cartridges etc)

3) Maintenance and disposal Costs (Labor,

Downtime and Disposal Costs)

At Camfil Ireland we have many accessories that can

be added to your Gold Series Dust Collector package

or can be retro-fitted onto other Non-Camfil to

upgrade existing Dust Collectors.

These accessories include but are not limited to:

1) Explosion Vents

Prevent and safeguard your factory from potentially

harmful Dust Collector explosions. In Dust Collection

systems there is often a real threat of explosions as

the mixture of different dust particles can often be

highly dangerous. Camfil Dust Collectors are

engineered to help protect employee safety while still

maintaining its high performance levels.

2) Camfil Controller

The automatic filter controller is designed to manage

the dust collector as well as the entire installation.

The controller will operate accessories and communi-

cate with remote systems, receiving start signal and

supplying alarms if required.

The Camfil Standard Control System is intended to be

used in clean areas and areas where fume and

non-explosive dry dust is present. An Ex version is

also available.

3) Smart Solenoid Controller

The cost-saving Smart Solenoid STR Controller is for

applications where dust collector filters are

pulse-cleaned based on timed intervals. The timer

controls that regulate pulsing are embedded within

the solenoids, eliminating the need to wire a

remote timer board to the solenoid tray. "On" and

"off" cycles are easily adjusted through dials

integrated into the solenoid tray. Factory settings

are 150 milliseconds "on" time with a 30-second

"off" cycle between pulses. The device is provided

with multiple solenoid valves which vary from two

to six.

4) Premium Efficient Fan Motors

Camfil have our own range of Premium efficient fan

motors. Used to help reduce energy costs in a Dust

Collector Unit these can be often used as upgrades

for non-Camfil dust collectors.

The Camfil Ireland maintenance package includes both Camfil Gold

Series Dust Collectors as well as the maintenance of other NON

FARR Dust Collectors.

These Maintenance packages are tailored for each customers

needs and come with a range of different options and extras as

outlined in this brochure.

Maintenance schedule parts are to be entered at the selling

date of the contract with the shipping dates to be entered

accordingly for delivery before the service date.

There are a number of different maintenance packages

available with all details outlined in the service contract and

agreed with the sales technician.
