6. ALL VALVES, ETC. SHALL BE INSTALLED ALLOWING EASY ACCESS BETWEEN LIGHT FIXTURES AND NOHIGHER THAN 12" TO 24" ABOVE THE CEILING. PROVIDE FITTINGS IN DUCTWORK AND PIPING ASREQUIRED SO THAT NO PIPING REMAINS TIGHT TO ROOF STRUCTURE. PROVIDE ACCESS PANELS ASREQUIRED. AREA ADJACENT TO THE ACCESS PANELS SHALL BE CLEAR OF ANY OBSTRUCTIONS.PROVIDE EXTENDED VALVE HANDLES FOR INSULATED PIPING.

7. DIVISION 23 SHALL BE GUIDED BY THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER'S REFLECTED CEILING PLAN FORLOCATION OF DIFFUSERS, REGISTERS, GRILLES SHOWN OR COVERED BY THESE PLANS. RETURNGRILLES SHALL NOT ALIGN WITH SUPPLY AIR THROW.

8. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE EXACT LOCATION OF ALL GRILLES, REGISTERS AND DIFFUSERS INCEILINGS WITH THE CEILING SYSTEM AND LIGHT FIXTURES. PROVIDE FLEXIBLE DUCT UPSTREAM OFEACH DIFFUSER WHERE SHOWN.

9. ARROWS ON THE HOT WATER COLD WATER MAINS INDICATE THE DIRECTION OF FLOW. PITCHMAINS UPWARD A MINIMUM OF 1" PER 60' IN THE DIRECTION OF FLOW. ARROWS ON STEAM ANDCONDENSATE PIPING AND DRAIN LINE INDICATE THE DOWNWARD PITCH OF THE PIPING.

10. INSTALL AIR VENTS AT ALL HIGH POINTS AND DRAINS AT ALL LOW POINTS OF WATER PIPINGSYSTEMS. DRAINS TO HAVE HOSE END THREADS WITH CLEARANCE TO ATTACH HOSE.

11. PIPING BRANCHES TO EQUIPMENT SHALL HAVE SAME SIZE VALVES AND FITTINGS AS THAT OF THELINE SIZE WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL VALVES.

12. PIPE "SWING" CONNECTIONS WITH UNIONS OR FLANGES SHALL BE MADE EXTERNAL TO COILS OR ATUBE BUNDLE TO FACILITATE REMOVAL OF THAT ITEM WITHOUT DISTURBING THE BRANCH VALVESAND/OR PIPING.

13. DUCT AND PIPING PENETRATING FLOOR SLABS AND/OR WALLS SHALL BE SEALED WITH ACOUSTICSEALANT. IF THE FLOOR OR WALL IS FIRE RATED PROVIDE THE FIRE STOPPING OR FIRE DAMPER TOMAINTAIN THE FIRE RATING.

14. ALL RECTANGULAR SHEET METAL DUCT SIZES ARE INSIDE DIMENSIONS. ALL ROUND DUCT SIZESSHOWN ARE INSIDE DIAMETERS. ALLOWANCE FOR ACOUSTICAL LINER WHERE INDICATED ONDRAWINGS MUST BE ADDED TO OBTAIN OUTSIDE SHEET METAL DIMENSION.

15. ALL WALL THERMOSTATS, TEMPERATURE SENSORS, AND/OR HUMIDISTATS SHALL BEAPPROXIMATELY 48" ABOVE FINISHED FLOOR TO CENTER AND LINED UP HORIZONTALLY WITH LIGHTSWITCHES UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED OR DIRECTED BY THE ARCHITECT/ENGINEER.

16. DIVISION 23 CONTRACTOR SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR HIS RESPECTIVE WORK FOR REPAIRINGAND PATCHING TO MATCH EXISTING SURFACES, SIDEWALKS, STREETS, FLOORS, WALLS, ROOFS,CEILING AND PAVEMENT. COORDINATE LOCATION OF ALL DAMPERS WITH AIR BALANCE CONTRACTOR. INHARD CEILINGS PROVIDE VOLUME DAMPER BEHIND THE GRILLE, REGISTER, OR DIFFUSER.

23. PROVIDE 45°/90° FITTING WITH VOLUME DAMPER LIKE FLEXMASTER MODEL STO AT ALL SUPPLY AIRAND PRIMARY AIR BRANCH DUCTWORK TAKEOFFS.

24. CONTRACTOR SHALL REVIEW RETURN AIR PATH BACK TO ALL HVAC EQUIPMENT. PROVIDE RETURNAIR OPENINGS AND/OR JUMPER DUCTS IN WALLS ABOVE THE CEILING WHERE REQUIRED. COORDINATEWITH GENERAL TRADES. VELOCITY THRU R.A. OPENINGS SHALL NOT EXCEED 500 FPM. FIELD VERIFYLOCATION OF EXISTING WALLS EXTENDING TO DECK.

25. ALL TRANSFER AIR DUCTS TO BE INTERNALLY INSULATED TO DETER NOISE TRANSFER. SIZE SHOWNON PLANS INDICATES ACTUAL FREE AREA.

26. ALL NEW PIPING AND DUCTWORK CROSSING THRU EXISTING CORRIDOR AND/OR CLASSROOMWALLS TO DECK; CUT WALLS AS REQUIRED. COORDINATE ALL OPENINGS THROUGH EXISTING WALLCONSTRUCTION WITH GENERAL TRADES. RENEWAIRE: ENERGY RECOVERY UNITS.e. DAIKIN: HEATING AND COOLING AC SYSTEMS.WHERE A CONTRACTOR PROPOSES TO USE ANOTHER MANUFACTURE OTHER THAN THAT DETAILED OR SCHEDULED ON THE DRAWINGS, ITIS THE CONTRACTORS RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THAT THE ALTERNATE MANUFACTURE CAN MEET OR EXCEED THE CAPACITIES ANDREQUIREMENTS THAT ARE SHOWN ON THE CONTRACT DOCUMENT SCHEDULES. CONTRACTOR TO COORDINATE ALL ELECTRICALREQUIREMENTS WITH THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR PRIOR TO ORDERING AND INSTALLATION OF EQUIPMENT.7. TEMPERATURE CONTROL SYSTEM TO BE LOCATED AS SHOWN ON CONTRACT DOCUMENTS. THE CONTRACTOR SHALL OBTAIN AND PAY FOR ALL PERMITS, TAXES, FEES AND OTHER COSTS IN CONNECTION WITH THE WORK THEYPERFORM.9. THE LOCATIONS OF EQUIPMENT SHOWN ON THE DRAWINGS ARE DIAGRAMMATIC ONLY. EXACT LOCATIONS SHALL BE DETERMINED ONTHE JOB GOVERNED BY THE WORK OF OTHER CONTRACTORS. THIS CONTRACTOR SHALL COORPORATE IN THE LOCATION OF ALL WORK TOPROVIDE A FINISHED WORKMANLIKE JOB. THIS CONTRACTOR SHALL GUARANTEE ALL MATERIAL, EQUIPMENT AND LABOR PROVIDED BY HIMTO BE FREE OF DEFECTS AND SHALL AGREE TO REPLACE AND/OR REPAIR, WITHOUT COST TO THE OWNER, ANY SUCH DEFECTS AT ANYTIME WITHIN ONE YEAR OF DATE OF FINAL ACCEPTANCE.10.IN CASE OF ANY DISCREPANCY BETWEEN THE VARIOUS DRAWINGS, OR BETWEEN DRAWINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS, THE CONTRACTORSHALL IMMEDIATELY REFER THE MATTER TO THE ENGINEER FOR HIS INTERPERTATION BY MEANS OF A DULY ISSUED ADDENDA. DRAWINGS SUBMITTED SHALL BEAR STAMPS OF THE APPROVAL OF CONTRACTORAS EVIDENCE THAT DRAWINGS HAVE BEEN CHECKING BY CHECKED BY HIM AND COMPLY WITH REQUIREMENTS OF THE CONTRACTDOCUMENTS AND SPECIFICATIONS. ANY DRAWINGS SUBMITTED WITHOUT THIS STAMP OF APPROVAL WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED AND WILLBE RETURNED TO THE CONTRACTOR FOR RESUBMISSION. IF DRAWINGS SUBMITTED SHOW VARIATIONS FROM REQUIREMENTS OFCONTRACT, CONTRACTOR WILL MAKE SPECIFIC MENTION OF SUCH VARIATIONS IN HIS LETTER OF TRANSMITTAL IN ORDER THAT IFACCEPTABLE, SUITABLE ACTION MAY BE TAKEN FOR POROPER ADJUSTMENT.13.THE CONTRACTOR SHALL RECORD ALL INSTALLED WORK, INCLUDING ALL CHANGES FROM THE DESIGN DRAWINGS. RECORDINGS SHALLBE MADE ON PRINTS KEPT IN GOOD CONDITION AT THE JOB SITE AS THE WORK PROGRESSES AND BEFORE ANY WORK IS COVERED. UPONCOMPLETIOTION OF THE WORK, THE JOB SITE PRINTS SHALL BE DELIVERED TO THE DESIGN ENGINEER CERTIFIED THAT ALL WORK WASINSTALLED AS SHOWN. AFTER APPROVAL BY ENGINEER, THE CONTRACTOR SHALL TRANSFER ALL DATA FROM PRINTS TO REVIT. THE REVITDRAWINGS AND TWO (2) SETS OF PRINTS SHALL BE DELIVERED TO THE ENGINEER. FINAL APPROVAL OF THE WORK AND FINAL PAYMENTSHALL BE WITHHELD UNTIL RECEIPT OF THE DRAWINGS.14.FINISH PAINTING WILL BE DONE UNDER THE G.C.
