Who is eligible? Current Juniors

Recommended cumulative GPA of 85 or above Score of 500 on both the Critical Reading and

Mathematics Sections of the SAT*** No more than 15 absences during the previous year Recommendation from Guidance Counselor

*** Students applying to LCCC who do not have SAT scores or who do not have the recommended score must take LCCC’s placement test and place at the college-level.

Mathematics Sections of the SAT*** No more than 15 absences during the previous year Recommendation from Guidance Counselor

Process Complete a “Request to Apply” Sheet

Due to the Guidance Office by Friday, February 26th. Follow application instructions for specific college Initial Payment for classes/fees/books is the

responsibility of the student. Upon enrollment in classes, students must submit

a copy of the following to the Guidance Office. Schedule Bill/Book Receipt Student Contract Driving Contract

LCCC All students not having the required SAT

scores will be given the Accuplacer test during the school day at Berwick High School

Students who qualify will be given an application to complete that day along with a course registration form.

The application fee and parent signature will be required within 1 week from that date.

Cost per course is approximately $185 plus cost of the book.

Schedule an appointment with your Guidance Counselor to request a letter of recommendation and transcript

Choose courses and schedule online at www.bloomu.edu/admissions/ace.php

BU courses cost approximately $285 plus the cost of books

SCHEDULINGMorning ClassesMid-Day ClassesEvening ClassesSummer Classes Students will still pick a full high school

schedule that will be adjusted once College Courses have been verified.

Dual Enrollment Contract A set arrival/departure time from the high

school. Agreement to complete both a first and second

semester course during the scheduled time. College grades will become a part of the the

official high school transcript and will be calculated as part of the high school GPA with a weight of 1.06

It is the student’s responsibility to determine the transferability of these credits.

REIMBURSEMENT Reimbursement will be made at the successful

completion (“C” or better) of a course with proper documentation.

Students are NOT guaranteed full reimbursement.

This amount is determined by the number of classes students are taking and the amount of the grant we are awarded.

Summer classes do not qualify for reimbursement but do qualify for the reduced tuition rate.
