We continue to see eSIM being deployed across the M2M, IoT and mobile industries. According to the eSIM

market report by Application, “the eSIM market is estimated to grow from USD 253.8 Million in 2018 to USD

978.3 Million by 2023, at a CADR of 31% between 2018 and 2023”.

The future does look bright but there is still a lot of work to be done before we can honestly promote and guarantee

a flawless customer experience. It is vital to go through the standards, functionalities, customer journey and the

end-to-end customer experience with a fine-tooth comb. The industry support is also still questionable. We are at a

crossroads as operators are reluctant to invest in this technology without a clearer picture of the benefits. With

roaming revenue potentially under threat, significant network infrastructure and I.T. investment costs, and the potential

for high client churn, it is only natural to hesitate.

This year’s event will address these opportunities, provide industry standards updates, map out the customer journey step by

step and will facilitate the much-needed discussion regarding eSIM benefits and the support required.

Thanks to our speakers and sponsors, we are delighted to provide you with the unique opportunity to learn from and meet with

the global eSIM community.

Come and ask your burning eSIM questions, join the debates, contribute to the discussions and take advantage of this

environment that has been engineered to encourage both formal and informal networking for all attendees. e-SIM

Connect 2019 welcomes eSIM industry contributors, eSIM enthusiasts and industry professionals looking for

opportunities to enter the market. This is the event that will help you guarantee your place in the market

and stay ahead of the game in a time of greater eSIM acceptance.

See you in October!

16:10 Afternoon Break

ADDRESSING SECURITY CONCERNS

16.50 Improving security for the wide range of connected devices • Discussing the key components that make up the secure element of the eSIM • With the development and deployment of greater eSIM enabled devices, how will they be managed? • How will this affect the level of security required?

17.10 FIRE-SIDE CHAT: What is the operators’ responsibility and capability of providing e-SIM security? • Operators have the database, network and service offerings – Do they own the customer based on the transaction between client and provider? • What happens if OEMs secure billing and OTT services? • With whom does responsibility fall in instances of errors? • Will clients be able to easily differentiate if the error is eSIM or service related?

This fireside chat session is conducted as an onstage interview with our panellists. We invite our audience to engage and to ask questions throughout the session.

17:40 QUICK FIRE SURVEY: Day 1 key takeaways • Top tips for operator groups to roll out eSIM – What lessons have we learned? • How to secure greater support for eSIM? • How will the new world of seamless connectivity at any time, all over the world, look like?
