Dear Sir:

Attached to this letter is my resume that summarizes my education and expertise, particularly

in teaching and training teachers, and university faculty members.

As can be seen from my resume, I received an MA in Teaching English as a Second

Language (MTESL), and a Ph.D. in Educational Technology from Arizona State University

(ASU), USA. Before moving to UAE University in the academic year 2000, I was working at

ASU as a research assistant and then as a post doc, where I taught some graduate and

undergraduate technology courses during the academic year 1999-2000.

I have published a number of research articles at a number of international journals since my

graduation in 1999. In addition, I have presented at numerous local, regional and international

conferences held at various counties such as UAE, USA, China, Malaysia, Germany, Austria,

and Italy.

I am very much involved in training k-12 school teachers in integrating technology in their

teaching. At the College and university levels, I have been involved in the College of

Education Accreditation Process at UAE University since the academic year 2000-2001. In

addition, I have been involved in the development of courses syllabi/curriculum for graduate

and undergraduate programs.

To conclude, I can summarize my professional expertise as (a) a lecturer of courses related to

English, Technology, Curriculum and Instruction, (b) a trainer of k-12 teachers and university

faculty members in technology and educational related fields, (c) and a researcher in

educational fields including English and technology. I can also assume some administrative

affairs as I had experience coordinating the Elementary Education program at the university

for so many years. This program consists of 4 different tracks.
