Installation tolerances can be compensated without special com-ponents thanks to the height-adjustable axis. Height compensation of 14mm takes all structural conditions into account. The arm height can be adjusted quickly and easily and the closing function is set up optimally.

ASSA ABLOY supplies approved door closer systems for single and double leaf smoke and �re doors with differ-ent usage requirements.

EN 1154This standard speci�es the technical requirements, in-cluding those for �re and smoke protection doors, for hand-operated door closing devices on swing doors

with a controlled closing cycle, for which the closing energy is applied by the user when opening the door.

EN 1155This standard speci�es the requirements for stand-alone hold open devices or those built into door closers may be used on �re and smoke protection doors.

EN 1158This standard speci�es requirements for both separatly mounted door coordinator devices and door coordi-nator mechanisms incorporated in door closers. There are additional requirements for devices for use on �re/smoke door assemblies included.

The aim of the report is to ensure designs for safer, more reliable and more convenient use of doors for residents in buildings, placing particular focus on chil-dren, the elderly and the disabled.The key recommendation for users is to install a door closer which incorporates a rapidly decreasing open-ing torque. To ensure that this is the case, the force which a user needs to apply to open the door up to 60° must be reduced by 40%.

Guide rail door closers ®This versatile system allows ASSA ABLOY Cam-Motion

door closers with different guide rail designs to be used for almost any application. The comprehensive guide rail range enables the required functions to be used in both single leaf and double leaf doors.

These systems can provide reliable, automatic closing of doors and electro-mechanical securing of �re and smoke protection barriers.The smoke detector seamlessly integrated into the guide rail safely monitors electro-mechanically secured doors and closes them quickly in the event of an emergency.

The wedge system used in double leaf doors models ensures that doors are closed safely in the correct order � �rst the inactive leaf, followed by the active leaf.
