Meet Dodger! This sweet, floppy-eared young pup will melt your heart with her gentle, playful & always curious disposition! Suspected to be part German Shepherd & part Rottweilertwo beautiful, intelligent & very special breeds, she has been given the Healthy stamp of approval by the vet & estimated to be 812 months old. With that age prediction, she’s not expected to get much bigger than the 49 lbs. she currently is but she still has lots of typical puppy behavior left in her. Dodger has received flea treatment & de-wormer & if she has not yet received heartworm testing & treatment, been updated on her vaccinations & been spayed when adopted, then those will need to be done. An adoption fee to reim- burse half of accumulated vet costs will be required. She arrived clean yet not understanding anything about being inside a house or the things about a house. But she’s a quick learner & really enjoys learn- ing! Within hours she was at home in our family room, having traversed her first step, carpeting, linoleum playing with dog toys, fetching & by the following day got the hang of having her own dog bed, which she really enjoys & sleeps on through- out the night. She has not displayed any resource guarding behavior to date with food or toys around humans or dogs, yet her curiosity propels her to help herself to every dog’s (or human’s) food/treats if her environment is not managed, even when she doesn’t know what it is or what to do with it—like ice cubes. She has not tried eating our artificial Christmas tree or the ornaments hanging on it, but likes to grab and drag thingsusually things laying underneath other things (tree skirts, blankets under the crate, towels under the water bowl, etc.) but that behavior has already been nipped here & can be at your house too! She excels at positive reinforcement communication and with some basic manners training or at least the same constant supervision & environment management that all pups require, she will thrive! She adores our two dogs but she may be questionable with cats. She also adores our neighbor’s 6 year live-in granddaughter, yet the herding behaviors of the shepherd in her come out quite often in her circling & nipping at the thighs of her targets… which often times with young kids & young herding breeds can be tricky until you teach the pups it is unacceptable behavior. She sits to receive her leash or food but there has not been enough time to teach her to hold her sit for her release word, although we continue to work on it, along with other manners that are common place in our household. She is being crated when she cannot be supervised (when we go out, take a shower, etc.) & she does pretty well. Her housetraining has gone pretty well also. “She’s a quick learner & really enjoys learning… & truly loves to be with people & dogs” Coupon Offer: Dodger_12-09 Hint: Don’t feel deterred by her name, she can easily learn a new one by using the “Name Game” for Adopting Dodger, receive: 10% OFF* Expiration Date: 3 months from Placement Date In-Home Basic Manners Training Session LIFE WITH DOGS Telephone: 304.610.5658 / Email: [email protected] * Not including Sales Tax or any applicable Fees Although no dogs should live outdoors, tied-up, un-engaged by their family packTHIS PUP has HIGH PACK DRIVE & must be accepted by a family as an indoor dog, socialized & engaged within the family pack

Meet Dodger! This sweet, floppy-eared young pup will melt your heart with her gentle,

playful & always curious disposition! Suspected to be part German Shepherd & part Rottweiler—two beautiful, intelligent & very special breeds, she has been given the Healthy stamp of approval by the vet & estimated to be 8—12 months old.

With that age prediction, she’s not expected to get much bigger than the

49 lbs. she currently is but she still has lots of typical puppy behavior left in her.

Dodger has received flea treatment & de-wormer & if she has not yet

received heartworm testing & treatment, been updated on her vaccinations & been spayed when adopted, then those will need to be done. An adoption fee to reim-burse half of accumulated vet costs will be required.

She arrived clean yet not understanding anything about being inside a

house or the things about a house. But she’s a quick learner & really enjoys learn-ing! Within hours she was at home in our family room, having traversed her first step, carpeting, linoleum playing with dog toys, fetching & by the following day got the hang of having her own dog bed, which she really enjoys & sleeps on through-out the night.

She has not displayed any resource guarding behavior to date with food

or toys around humans or dogs, yet her curiosity propels her to help herself to every dog’s (or human’s) food/treats if her environment is not managed, even when she doesn’t know what it is or what to do with it—like ice cubes.

She has not tried eating our artificial Christmas tree or the ornaments

hanging on it, but likes to grab and drag things—usually things laying underneath other things (tree skirts, blankets under the crate, towels under the water bowl, etc.) but that behavior has already been nipped here & can be at your house too! She excels at positive reinforcement communication and with some basic manners training or at least the same constant supervision & environment management that all pups require, she will thrive!

She adores our two dogs but she may be questionable with cats. She

also adores our neighbor’s 6 year live-in granddaughter, yet the herding behaviors of the shepherd in her come out quite often in her circling & nipping at the thighs of her targets… which often times with young kids & young herding breeds can be tricky until you teach the pups it is unacceptable behavior.

She sits to receive her leash or food but there has not been enough time

to teach her to hold her sit for her release word, although we continue to work on it, along with other manners that are common place in our household.

She is being crated when she cannot be supervised (when we go out,

take a shower, etc.) & she does pretty well.

Her housetraining has gone pretty well also.
