The program shall include the presentation of a thesis and/or other work approved by the University’s Research and Research Training Committee, embodying the results of the candidate’s study and research, for examination. A supervisor or supervisors shall be appointed with the approval of the University and will provide direction and advice to the candidate. Potential candidates should consult the University’s Common Rules for Courses Leading to the Degree of Doctor of Philosophy. Applicants into this course are required to provide referees reports, research proposal outline (400-600 words), certified academic transcripts and other supporting documentation. ADMISSION REqUIREMENTSyou must have completed the equivalent of an Australian Bachelor’s degree with second class Honours division A, or an Australian Master’s degree (with a substantial research component). Alternatively, you may have other qualifications and/or experience equivalent to these degrees.
