 Do not read poetry.

Poetry hurts, penetrates into the inner self and remains there forever.

Better yet, do not read any kind of books.

Therein lies the knowledge of all worlds – and who would ever bear thisburden?

Ree!t poems the moment you start feeling them.

Poems are !ruel and !ontain all of sorrow of the world between the lines.

There is a reason why tyrants burnt books

"nd why today good books are but rare reli!s of the past.

#nder no !ir!umstan!es should you let your soul be enlightened with the musi!

of words

$or these melodies are far too loud for your !omprehension of harmony.

These are evangeli! !hoirs and dark symphonies of demons,

They disturb the well%trodden roads of your sense of hearing.

&hat are poets e'a!tly?

Poets are – ( !laim !ontently – whores,

They give themselves un!onditionally to everyone.

They offer themselves like street hookers, whether you read them or not, they

will wait at the !orner . (n poetry lies the blissfulness of )eaven, as do the sempiternal fires of )ell –

"nd is there anyone willing to take the risk nowadays?

"ll stand e*ual before it, both people of faith and those who turned their ba!ks

on it, both women and men, (t is both an atta!k and a defense.

(t does not hold any hypo!risy, verses !annot pretend.

Those who believe that a poem is the author+s person+s manifest –

They are nothing but goddamned peeping Toms.

Poems are first%!lass opium to those who truly enoy in them,

Their mind is seriously influen!ed by a single proper usage of it.

Prose does not fall behind, but poetry did leave more !asualties.-

ever let yourself fall in love with a poet.

The one who offers poems to people is – unhappy, Beware of that kind of people/ they see everything in your eyes.

"s they write, they fervently, almost desperately hope someone will a!!ept their

 final produ!t,

Poets are stray dogs in the shadows of the !ity and in the wideness of nature.

Do not take them seriously, not for a moment,

They are not from our time/ they either !ome from the past or from the future,

The present – they do not !omprehend. 0hould they learn how to,

" maelstrom will !ome to e'ist and they will drag you into it in the blink of an

eye.

Beware of the people who see the refle!tion of everything in othingness,

&ho see an an!ient history ornament in a !arpet pat!hwork,

&ho talk a tad differently – they learned these phrases from books,

Those Pandora1s bo'es you need to keep away from.2ne !annot find perspe!tive in poems, there is no future there, no right way of

living/

Poets1 !oat of arms is 3ove, their flag – Beauty/

(n their souls hide deserts and rain forests/

They are the !arriers of the &riting "ddi!tion/ the !ure is in the verses.

(f you on!e find yourself in a poet1s verse, read nothing more –

(t means you understand that order of letters.

(t means the author of the words that stru!k the !ord

Dragged you to the depths of the life that is unknown and too demanding.

$or en!hantment and dread are re*uired of wordsmiths,

They are !ompelled to linger with (nspiration owing to their fear of her

abandon/

They are destined to tirelessly observe a million worlds,

"s reality waits for them, warning them every se!ond.

They stand firm on the ground, but their head is in the fog of the universe.

4ontradi!tion and !ontrol over shading unrest is e'pe!ted in their every verse.

They get lost in their eerie world that is enslaved by a greater !ause,

They !annot talk trivially. They are bad !ompany of passionate points of view,

2ne loved by a poet is loved forevermore.

"s ( already said, do not let yourself hear them

 3et alone parti!ipate in their psy!hologi!al trea!heries,

5erses !onfuse your souls, paraly6e your reason,

othing is bla!k and white, everything is every !olor,

They are prone to hesitan!y – e'!ept when they sit down to write.

(sn1t it enough to know they sometimes destroy their own work?

0elf%destru!tion is a middle name to ea!h one of them, "nd they are deranged enough to write about it and take pride in it.

They love the smell of a tame book and obs!ure wild regions,

They dream when they1re awake. &ho !an stand that kind of people?

0o – do not read poems, for this hurts them most,

(t pains them that people !annot see all those poeti! artistries.

They are a part of everything, they do not belong to anything, and their leader is

the #niverse.

Poems hold Truth – and who !ould possibly bear su!h burden?

(n a world su!h as this, life must not be made any more unbearable.

their poems.
